Marcus Rashford (out)

A change of scenery will do rashford good. Tabloids are terrible in every country but england takes it to a whole new level.

Is his salary really as high as it has been described? One would assume that the salary would be filled with clauses like playing in Europe, goals etc, all of which is down now, meaning he would at most be paid a portion of his purported salary?

The club and Amorim better have a plan with how desperate they are to get rid of him. No credible links to any forwards as well if he leaves. We will struggle to finish 10th with the forwards left at the club. 7 goals and 3 assists by the time he played his last game for us, surely he'd be into double figures already and actually helping the team. It'll improve his market value as well and we can easily sell in the summer.
Better have a plan? You say this as if it's a bad thing he is going!

I'd rather give someone from the youth setup the minutes if needed that ever give them to Rashford. He's had plenty of time, his attitude is awful.

It takes one bad apple to spoil the rest. Simple as.

I want Rashford gone too and was someone who never saw him as overly special as a player.

However I think the desire to leave UTD is/has been there well before. I know he won't be seen as the best example but even a recent interview with Pogba he talks about wanting to be sold before he went on a free.

Yeah we hate players like Sancho for what they have done/did, and maybe rightly so, but it does beg the question why these players on huge wages want gone?

Especially as in days gone by players signed for UTD despite being offered more in terms of wages.

I could be wrong about Rashy specifically but he hasn't looked like he wants to stay for a while. Now whether that's because of what I call the "Ronaldhino syndrome" (basically he lost sight of football when he got big wages and his training went to pot as he was required to do so much advertising) or simply culture at UTD I can't say for certain. But it's becoming a little too consistent to ignore in my opinion.

Because they never deserved to be on those wages in the first place, and could never realistically live up to them. It's like imposter syndrome in a regular job, you can only be an imposter for so long before the pressure builds and you're found out. The problem isn't that players like Rashford and Sancho want gone, the problem is the club are awarding mediocre players high wages out of desperation, when they're simply not befitting of it.

Only photo I'd really care about is one of him in another teams shirt. Still feel like it won't happen and Amorim will be pressured to integrate him back into the squad to help sell him in the summer.

Nobody really knows exactly how much he earns (and exactly what bonus clauses and so forth may be included in his current contract).

But it seems reasonable (based on numerous sources) to assume that he's on somewhere around 300k (pounds) per week (maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less).

It is likely that he earns more (base salary) than any other United player except Casemiro (who was offered an extremely generous contract).

Anyway - if the question is: "Is Rashford's salary a problem?" (in the context of selling him to any number of potential buying clubs), the answer is: YES.

Well I for one am mighty shocked that Milan and Rashford apparently didn't come to an agreement, probably nothing about money. Cause he loves the game and is ready to show everyone that he's in his peak and ready for a new challenge.

Mad, I remember the Jimmy Mizen case as was down the road from me at the time. Was massive local news and I dont even remember the perpetrators name. What a weird story to run from the tabloids.

Same here, it's round the corner from me and I would never remember the killers name. Tabloid journos have no integrity, journalistic or otherwise.

Surprise Surprise, a loan deal was hard to organise. It is clear that Rashford does not care about anything but money and off field things.

Surely he has to realise that he is no good and re-adjust his aspirations. He is paid like a top footballer but would struggle to be a top player in the championship.

Can't believe we have to hope for Dortmund to bail us out
surprised Dortmund are interested. They usually sign top young talent and make them superstars. Instead they’d be signing a ready made player with bad attitude.
