This was at a time when players like Nunez and Grealish were going for 100m and Antony for 80+.

Annoying to think about but there gave certainly been times when we could have almost certainly got 100m for him.

I do think those crazy transfer fees have tapered off anyway.

But his overall play was not good, you could see the signs of what was to come.

Fair enough opinion but it does come with a substantial wage cost so not without negatives.

Rashford's issues with managers based on the information in the public have not been anything major regarding disrespect or anything close to being banned. It's him not being professional all the time and slacking off then getting back to it in a roller coaster fashion and not unlocking his full potential.

Not being professional and slacking off is a major thing especially when coming from a senior player whose also the highest paid player at the club. If the 350k a week player can't be arsed to backtrack then why would the rest of the team do it? Also what sort of salary would someone who actually runs their socks off demand?

However I don't blame Rashford for how things end up. Its United who made managers apologize to him in public and covered up for his lack of professionalism. It was also United who gave him a salary which at the time was way higher to one the likes of Salah had. United made Rashford untouchable. We created Rashford.

I recently watched a reel from Rio on how Roy Keane was booted out of the club. We lost a game, he went too hard on his mates, SAF didn't allow that to be shown on MUTV and the day after the gaffer showed up to tell the players that Keane would never play for United ever again. What a difference between that time and now were senior players can jog on the pitch and a United manager is forced to apologize to Rashford for the temerity of criticizing him.

Loans with an obligation to buy are fine, clubs tend to budget their transfers for the start of the summer aiming to get players in for the start of the new season, that's why there tends not to be big deals done in Jamuary because the budget has already been spent

Or he will be a different player in a different environment. The fact that Garnacho is looking to leave also tells me that there is something fundamentally wrong at the club. Ronaldo spoke out but it doesn't seem much has changed.

Exactly. You will notice that the people speak negatively about Rashford will always conveniently leave out how awful we have been as a team since Sir Alex left. Some posters would have you believe that we have been competing for the league and champions league every season and Rashford is the only under performing in the squad. That's not the case.

It's in everyone's best interest to see how he gets on in a different environment. Loan him out.

Can you post the source that says that Garnacho wants to leave, I don't recall seeing anything saying he's looking for a 'new challenge'

As Moses has pointed out. He basically keeps posting the same thing over and over.
I went through it with him last week and gave up.
 
Rashford in the Bundesliga is probably the best move for both parties. Open space, high lines and poor defenders.

Get his confidence up with some goals and highlights and we'll see what happens in the summer.

Ole was made to backtrack on what he said by coming out with a silly explanation of something that was previously pretty clear to understand and was quite reasonable for a manager to ask ie rashford should focus on his game. The athletic confirmed that such crap came after Rashford's camp made it clear that they weren't happy with ole's criticism
