Wasn't this to be expected? I think he was on 240k before and wanted to be up there with the highest earners. In his situation, heading somewhere like there for 6 months might not be a bad idea. Change of scenery, he could maybe relax a bit more and stay out of the limelight for a bit. Just work on getting his shit together, focus on his football and figure out what to do next.
Amorim saw all he needed to in training to know Rashford isnt interesting in doing the hard work that he demands in his system to play for his team. It's as simple as that.
