Rashford and his agent are probably looking at night clubs before football clubs. Got to check out the night life first.
The same club who evaluated antony at 80 millions. He is not a very good player, and not many clubs outside of MLS and SA care about marketability that much. If his wages were more down to his level, a 50 million fee would not be outrageous. But with his wages? I doubt any club would want to spend north of 35 millions.
We had the same issue with Sancho, who is also younger.

That's a very weird one to name. Moukoko had a patch a couple years ago where one might have called him an exciting prospect, but he ultimately failed to actually make headway in Dortmund and this season is loaned out to Nice in order to get any playtime at all.

There is no doubt that the whole status of the club had impacted him similar to how it impacted lots of the players who joined united recently. But he is also to blame. He isn’t just underperforming, he doesn’t seem to want to play football. Like you said, he grew up dreaming of playing for united, he should’ve given everything on the pitch. But he didn’t. Eventually, he became a bad influence at the club.

Based on actual performance value, Rashford is worth 20m at most. He's a player whose hype machine has created this fantasy of a world class footballer who really isn't. But of course the problem is his wages. No effing way should we consider subsidizing his wages and letting him play for another club. If we're going to pay his wages, he trains with us and contributes as a squad man for as long as his contract provides.

I'm hoping people start to realise that Rashford (out) is really just another component of INEOS needing to unwind so much of the damage done by the previous executive, which has left us in a really bad financial position. Even worse, it's left us in a really bad financial position at the same time as - I think and hope - we might have finally found a Head Coach who can, given time, backing and opportunity, finally move us forward.
Bluntly, Marcus is a serial under-performer, who at the reported ~£300K pw, is a growing liability (his attitude and likely further decline just add to this). Casemiro and Antony are the other stand-out examples of damage done, where we need to repair what we can as soon as we can.
Bluntly, talk of him being anything like a £75-80m talent is plain ludicrous, particularly given his contract situation. A realistic current scenario is a January loan - and Dortmund might be a better bet than a Serie A team - that we'll need to subsidise, with a hopeful future scenario based on him discovering some sort of form and us being able to drive up a fee to £30-40m in the summer window.

Rashford is on £325k including CL incentives, I wonder if he is eligible for the extra bonus while on loan with Milan?
Milan would be a good move, with Leao struggling with injuries again he would slot right in.

Why will he go for free? He has a long contract left.
Just don't play him. He either takes a pay cut to fulfil his ambition to push for the England squad or hel go Saudi for the money.
Not much value for money there. Why on earth we offered the likes of Eriksen or Antony so much money is beyond me. They’d have been on a fraction of that before they joined us.
Well we would probably have to pay him a decent percentage of his contract for him to agree to a release.
Eriksen is paid above the odds because he was a free transfer.
Which is fine if you’re signing Rudiger or Mbappe, you expect a big signing on fee, wages etc to compensate for the lack of fee. But this was a player who nobody apart from Brentford was prepared to go near. I can’t imagine he was on anything higher than 50k at Brentford, would 75k not have done the trick?

At the time all the noise was either him coming to us or signing a new deal at Brentford, I don’t remember anyone else being involved.

Wow! The funniest thing is that none of these players are reliable and consistent. None of them deserves those amount. We really need a clear out. This time around we need to get it right. Get the right players in please

Those big spenders Everton and Newcastle. We need to start calling agents bluff a bit more, especially with those second tier signings. There’s no way he’d have been offered 100k+ by any of these other parties.
