Marcus Rashford (out)

How does how a person dresses reflect their attitude? You see the most ridiculous things being worn by athletes regularly. It's a nonsense argument and potentially racially tinged.
The most ridiculous you'll see people wearing are the clothes models wear on the catwalk designed by the best fashion designers in the world, or so we keep getting told

Tbf I think he has been quite respectful to both Amorim and the club since being frozen out. And I'd lump Casemiro in with that as well. Neither have said anything negative about either the management or the club.
His interview was not respectful, at all.

Alright, if you insist. Let's start in chronological order:

That is neither clear nor visibly true. All we publicly know is that Rashford and Garnacho were both dropped and asked to show more in training. One of them clearly complied and is starting games for us despite being up for sale. The other immediately did a private journalistic interview where he said he wanted a new challenge. What we see is that Rashford asked for the move. That was the action, not the reaction.

It may have been a reaction to the club silently but explicitly putting him up for sale and telling his camp that he was not in their plans *before* the Winter piece. We don't know, but if we had to guess that it's extremely unlikely because (a) Rashford's PR would have highlighted that immediately, (b) Amorim would not have said his being dropped is solely due to effort in training, and not talked about how we needed Rashford'd qualities instead, and (c) we see with Garnacho that being up for sale does not stop this manager from picking you.

So sure, we don't completely know, but all available info strongly seems to suggest that Rashford blindsided the club with exit talk in that Winter piece.

Here you do an a b c to argue why it's very unlikely both that the cultural reboot article was a brief, and that the club wanted him out.

a) That's just a strange assumption on your part. "Rashford's PR" very rarely do any official statements, why would that change here? I remember reading reports of Rashford being very unhappy with learning that the club has been trying to sell him behind his back, but you'd presumably reject that like you're rejecting the cultural reboot.

b) Why would Amorim not have said that? This isn't even me necessarily disagreeing, but I can't even begin to understand your train of thought.

c) Yes, of course Amorim can play Rashford if he wants, which he doesn't want to. Rashford would probably be playing if he was performing better, or did better in training. What does that have to do with anything? Not a rhetorical question, I have no idea what you're trying to show with this.

Not sure what you guys are arguing about, but it's fecking tedious

Because as said by Neville and Rooney there, he's not a bad trainer. Most of the time at least. It's pretty much his life outside football.
as if they had any insight how he is in training these days.

if that was the only thing noone would care but it all adds up. Some already realized when he (and BW for example) had ice around their necks with their names/initials. How much more obvious can it be they bought into their own hype. and there are plenty more examples with rashford where he thought he was something better than your average joe i.e. parking wherever not caring about the rules/fines. So yeah, all that "good guy things" he has done makes no sense in that light. It might be cynical, but is it really so crazy to think it was done for good pr? How much effort did any of his undoubtfully good things he done actually take? How much of it did he came up with himself or was it advised? I understand that is not well looked upon to critizies him for obviously good things he has done but isn't it evident he is very entitled and selfish? It seems so out of character to be honest when you see how he apparently acts in daily life and yes I will get hate for that. Its a serious matter and it was against the government i don't believe any of it was actually written/said by him without advisors and yes of course its a win win for him he feeds kid(who would be against it?) and it makes him look good. Just like putting his name on books.

With the way young kids are improving and getting minutes (Collyer, Garnacho, Kobbie, Dorgu (hopefully) and Yoro), it will be a bad influence to keep him on the 1st team.

why is no one talking about the obvious reason for Rashford’s decline? It’s common knowledge he was body-snatched by pod people whose home planet has a higher oxygen to nitrogen ratio. #feckingFactsInnit
