Absolute madness. I mean £325k is a lot regardless but I think you can at least make a case for Rashford. £330k for Havertz (which presumably means he’s the highest paid player at Arsenal?), when Arteta openly says he isn’t sure yet how Havertz will fit in (I can’t remember the exact wording but something like this, or that he will need to build connections in training to find a role) is beyond madness even.
 
In all seriousness, how has Havertz justified a £330k a week wage? He got 10GA last season, compared to Rashford’s 40+ GA, and somehow got a £70m transfer and a higher wage.

Nah but seriously, glad he’s signed, great player, another world class academy graduate, he’ll go down as one of our best by the time this contract is up.

Glad we got over the bullshit of the last few pages where he was shit because he wasn’t Messi. He’s great lads, there isn’t a top team in Europe who wouldn’t snap him up if they had free choice of any of our players.

Because Arsenal are mugs? They just paid £100m for Rice. It’s the kind of decision making that screams we’re going to win the title or I’m getting sacked.
 
Delighted he signed a new contract. Delighted he turned things around last season and hopefully more of it this season.

He’s our only certified goal scorer. People baulk at the salary but don’t expect someone like Kane to come here and work for free either. If you can put the ball in the back of the net more that 20 times a season in the PL you will always be a massive earner.

Nah don't you know? Players should just be happy to play for the shirt! If Marcus had anything about him he'd play for free and dedicate every goal to good old King Charles.
 
Now that he signed a contract hope he doesn't start slacking off. Its really really imperative we sign another forward to keep some competition for him and get rid of sancho asap and replace with someone who actually can push us on. Fingers crossed.

No more waiting for few years till players grow into the roles. We need it now. Its been more than a decade since we won it. We need to be ruthless because its getting increasingly harder to stay competitive. No more sentiments.

Whatever his limitations are im sorry what do you expect the club to do it would be madness letting Rashford go even if it means paying him a wedge. Not only currently the main goalscorer but hes actually irreplaceable in this financial climate, i mean lets not pretend United aren't being quoted Sancho money for a 20 year old from Atlanta.
 
let's hope he builds a bit more consistency in his play now instead of going through these mad goal streaks and then disappearing for months at a time.
