He is a very good footballer, yes he has ups and downs. But no one on the left side in the england side is better than him on his day.
I've read through two pages back, seeing people try talking him down is a shame, Yes he's not been at his best since coming back from his 1st major injury, but i thought in our last two games he's been lively and looked a lot hungrier compared to post lock down...

I've never understood opinions like this. He's not skipping training. What do you think he should be doing in his free time? Practicing headers in his garden? Meditating about penalties in his lounge? Or is it that when he's in a match he's spending all his time thinking about school dinners?
I'm sure spending his time doing something productive will improve his maturity and football much more than playing video games all day like the rest of the players his age.
Also quite a harsh implication that he's not actually interested and is just doing it for recognition.
It will serve everyone well to remember that football and community service are more intertwined than most people believe them to be.

Imagine seeing Rashford (or anybody) doing work to help with child food poverty and the main thought being "Get on with the football instead", boggles the mind 
I admire this lad as a football player and also good human being so much. He is brilliant. To think he’s been the country’s best politician over this Covid period and has put in decent, if inconsistent, footballing performances off the back of a nasty injury while doing so. My username is dedicated to this boy for a reason. What a guy.

I'm surprised he ONLY got an MBE. Captain Tom (bless him), did regular walks to get a knighthood whereas Rashford had a much tougher battle on his hand especially with flatulant politicians who begrudlingly reversed their decision to support his cause.

So after the govt refused to extend the free meal scheme, Rashford with the help of local business all over UK is providing free meals for children. Some local restaurants who is also hit hardest by the pandemic are giving out free meals. Marcus compiles and tweet these business on his twitter feed so everyone could see.

The thing he is doing so fecking well is holding his head high and refusing to get drawn into politics. He’s got laser like focus on his cause and rather than getting frustrated and calling these people out for the cretins they are, he’s just highlighting and making an example of their own behaviour with better behaviour and better examples himself. The most telling thing about all of this for me isn't the politicians, but the people. There are actual citizens of the UK that are upset that Rashford is doing this, to keep children fed. What sort of people could be upset about that?

I agree with you that it is disgusting to see them spewing this nonsense, but on the other hand, for me at least, social media has lifted the curtain on these sort of people. If social media didn't exist, and you told me that there were people who were angry that a footballer was the driving force behind an initiative to feed children in need, there's no way I would believe it, as it just seems incredulous that our fellow humans can be so cruel.
Social media has shown us that we haven't come as far, as a society on the whole, as we think we have.
