Based on him scoring few goals, and us scoring few goals from rebounds. I am pretty sure Pogba took more during his time here and he scored less than Rashford.

Yeah how many free kicks did he took for us so far? I'm sure not high enough to label him on of the best.

Rashford doesn't take many free kicks here, has scored about 2 I believe. Pogba took more and hit the woodwork several time.

Pogba ones seem to be more technical and focusing on accuracy rather than power. From what I have seen from Rashford, he looks out of the same school as Zlatan and Ronaldo, and focusing more on power rather than placing them accurately in a corner. It's not a bad way, but but I'll prefer the technique of the likes of Pogba and Mata.

That's exactly my point, he just started taking them and scored 2 goals, and we have scored 2 from rebounds I believe, more than after many more from Pogba.

Pogba and Mata should take those just around the box, I agree, but Rashford should take those from 20m and more.

Wolves 2:1 Man Utd
This guy is still injured isn't he? It's irritating as hell that he is playing with a new half energetic type performance.

I have felt we have been playing with 10 players ever since Rashford has been injured yet starts every game.

Has been absolute gash for a good time now.

He's either magnificent or trash. There's nothing in between from him.

The goal was literally the only thing he did right. Shocking decision making. Feel like he's started to believe his own hype a bit as well. Fair enough play with an ego when you're an established star but he's not. Constantly throwing a strop on the pitch at his teammates or making selfish decisions.

Also I know we had no replacement for him today but it's also worrying how Ole has already deemed him unsubbable despite him stinking up the gaff several times under Ole.

He was terrible today despite the goal, but I think the blame is on Ole to have started him in this one. Everyone and their dog knew he looked injured and was off-form in that Arsenal game - bringing him off the bench would have been the better option. Killed more attacks than he started, ran into players, was selfish with his shot selection, lacked movement despite his enthusiasm and Lukaku-ed his first touch so many times today.

Ole should have seen this coming, and at least subbed him off in the second half. His lack of decisiveness is costing Rashford his form and confidence.

He had a five game spell under Ole where he played well, after being awful for most of Mourinho's reign, and now, in the last handful of games, he's back to being terrible again.

His shooting from everywhere routine is getting really old as well. He's not Ronaldo, and he really needs to realise that.

Lukaku deserves to start over him now. No question. Martial and Lingard either side of him (though they're not exactly playing their best either, but they've just come back while Rashfords been shite for weeks).

Awful at his worst. Still scored though which is typical of him.

His attitude on the pitch still stinks.

Rashford clearly has a very high ceiling in terms of potential but he should be a player coming on for the last 20mins replacing our world class number 9, not our first choice. Christ our recruitment has been absolutely awful.

I am not entirely convinced we can rely on Rashford to be our main striker. Calling his decision making bad would be a compliment.

He rarely ever passes; He shoots from ridiculous ranges too much; He shoots from ridiculous ranges when nobody is in the box to get onto a rebound; His finishing is inconsistent.

I know people don't like him, but there is a lot he can learn from Lukaku. Lukaku is far better at positioning in the box; far better at finishing; much better decision maker.

It wasn’t his best game but your second comment is odd, care to elaborate?
Think it’s in reference to these bad little habits he has. They have come back again. Where he shoots from anywhere, strolls around the pitch, just looking overly cocky. It’s completely unnecessary and he needs to eradicate it from his game.

Maybe I’m bias but I didn’t see anything concerning in that regard. The invisible players concerned me more.

here we gi again with the injured status. I doubt he is injured at all. Right now he just needs to be brought down to earth and try not to superman his way through defenders in the middle of the pitch.

His goal was straight at the keeper too before the deflection.

He's been shocking again after his brief purple patch.

Yeah we've to criticise the way a player scored a goal now.

He was very poor today...but managed to be our most dangerous player, that says it all about the performance of the team.

I also don't think that he's injured. But he seems to be tired physicaly and mentaly because he's always available and plays non stop. he needs a break to recharge batteries. But now he has to go to england dutie where the pressure also is huge all the time...Hope he just starts max. one game of the two.

Football iq is poor. Don't know how much it can be coached into him. Will hold him back until it improves.

He wasn't anywhere near as bad as people are making out. Against a deep defensive line, you need to try things and take risks.

Our pointless passing was doing nothing. And it wasn't going to do anything either. Rashford tried to play the percentages, and it was the right thing to do.

He isn't half as good as he thinks he is.
When on fire he is as good as Mbappe, when he is complete gash looks like another Bellion. That said, he is only 21 and hasn't helped that he has been shoehorned onto the wing to accommodate Lukaku last few games!

He's clearly not going to make it here as a striker. We need to start coaching him into another position in the forward line where his talents will be useful.

i was his biggest fan and thought sky's the limit for him, but now he's definitely started to believe his own hype a bit too much. He was god awful today and Fergie would never have stood for it. Hope Ole has the balls to give him a dressing down. He wasn't the only atrocious one tonight, but his attitude was off. Slow and ponderous in possession, ridiculous long range shots. This is partly result of media hype train, where we hype up these British youngsters to levels that they haven't come anywhere close to achieving.

Ole needs to get the idea out of his head that he is undroppable quick, because at the moment he is doing nothing close to making him undroppable. Hopefully Phelan or someone will set him straight.

His "confidence" is out of control.

Ole needs to knock him down a peg or two. He can't keep getting away with doing whatever he wants

Rashford is beginning to believe the hype. Lets be brutally honest, he's not remotely near world class.

Performances really been pissing me off of late. Going through one of his spells.

The goal will hopefully help his confidence because he needs it. That said, he scored a huge goal in Paris just last week and has been shit again since then so I dunno.

What the heck is he doing not putting in a shift. Lazy.

Rubbish 1st half. Boring to see Rashford playing this lazy and ego way. What the heck is wrong with his shit decision making.
  • from corner loose ball, many players inside the box, decided to shoot long distance from RM. Wayward rubbish shot.
  • from corner loose ball, many players inside the box, he's the 3rd/4th last man at the back, up against 2 defenders, let's dribble through them. Fail and lose the ball, then decided to just watch as Wolves countered hard. Just wooow.
  • frustrated, then decided to get a yellow with a two foot lunge tackle. Let's disappoint my team again by risking booking. (is it a slip?, forgiven if that's so.)
 I don't mind his first long top spinning shot in the first half. Didn't work this time, and there's no other better option, it's a fair attempt.

Improve 2nd half though. Still a messy performance.

Finally decided to play properly in the dying 90s min, positioning himself inside the box, and hit a well composed goal.

An injury doesn’t really excuse his selfish and stupid decisions. The amount of times he tries to take the physical route of running someone instead of passing makes me think he isn’t injured.

I just think he goes through periods of over estimating his ability and we get performances like today. He can be so casual on occasion and just lose possession or give it away and unfortunately over the last 4-5 games it’s made a comeback.
