That wasn't the same as playing out wide today. Against Spurs he was playing as a striker up top with Martial beside him, with a diamond midfield.
Missed a sitter early on but generally looked out of sorts tonight, doesn't really want to be on the left.

He's been much better recently when he's been moved centrally and then he's back to being terrible when he's on the left again. He should never play there again.

Needs to realise the importance of scoring your first chance in a game. An early goal against a team like that is literally everything and when you don't take it you're risking a shit result. That is the responsibility a striker has. Love him though.

Thought he needed a rest before this game. Big if but if he scored the early chance, it would have completely changed Burnleys game plan....I guess that's the difference between the very top draw and those just below it....
Thought he was a headless chicken today. Ran the ball out of play in good positions twice, missed a sitter, missed another half chance. He'll have games like these though - I'd rather him taking players on so I wouldn't want him to change that style. Just hope he gets better at what he does.
