Absolutely fantastic. I hope so much he keeps progressing and fulfills his potential, it’s going to be amazing to have a home grown superstar at centre forward. He will bang in 20+ a season

Showing the world what he’s about, fantastic player. In the past I had concerns about him but I definitely don’t anymore, got everything it takes to make it at the top. He’s workrate is out of this world. His assist was excellent.

Him under Ole is a completely new player from him under Jose. Rash is a beast.
To be fair he did start playing well long before Ole came in, not to say that this system doesn’t suit him like a glove though.

Whats that? Like 7 games in a row in which hes been incredible. Still needs to improve his finishing but that'll come in time.
Yeah, he's been playing well for quite awhile now. He hasn't changed under Solskjaer, it's the change in those around him that has been the biggest difference.

Always felt he tried too hard under Mourinho because of the limited chances and that was the reason of poor decision making and selfishness. When he's unselfish and confident, he's a special player!

He's had an incredible December. Fair play to the lad. Start showing composure in front of goal and he has everything going for him.

Brilliant today, great feet

And there’s loads in this thread who think that he’s not good enough and should be replaced!

RM aren’t sniffing around him for no reason

Starting to think he's gonna make it here and he will. Ole is making and moulding him into a great player. He's enjoying his football all over again, none of the big time Charlie moaning at his teammates anymore he did under Jose

Fantastic young forward. His potential is just incredible and exciting.

Should be the starting #9 for the rest of this season to see if he can build a good goal tally as the rest of his game is all coming together, he was fantastic today, brilliant assist and a classic strikers goal, if Pogba hadn't been so immense then he'd have been MOTM.

I'm struggling to remember a better assist from a United player. Berbatov vs West Ham maybe? Any others?

Had a really good game, always got excited when he had the ball.

The way he constantly pressed their defenders and keepers was really nice to watch. Long may this form continue :D

Was really good today. Energy, intensity, pace, guile, trickery & movement were top-notch. Just needs to perfect his one-on-one finishing and close quarters decision making process and we'll have a world class player on our hands.

Where are all those posters saying he needed to go out on loan? Lots of people saying that this season, nuts. Even under Jose you could see this was a kid with talent.

That might be the best performance I've seen from Rashford. I got tired just watching him doing all that running. Brilliant for the important early first goal too.

In fairness a kid with raw talent. Raw unpolished talent. He is looking immense recently but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. And before you label me one of those posters I have never thought he was over rated or needed to go on loan.

So happy he's no longer the kick-and-run-merchant he was largely under Mourinho.
We're seeing his skillset like we witnessed when he was first introduced into the first team under Van Gaal.
The enjoyment is back in his game.

I agree with you, and he will have bad games, and will be infuriating, as that’s what most young players with talent go through. I’m not saying he’s suddenly a great striker, but he has the talent and we need to nurture that - and he has a great chance of being a key player for many years.

He’s at the right place, and now has the right manager.

Wouldn’t most of them be so he could escape Jose and get to play hopefully in a role where he isn’t suffocated under his reign. He’s always had talent but think it’s fair to say over the last 2 years he has/had lost some of his natural ability with us and was making foolish decisions which I’m sure was just him under pressure and feeling like he needed to do something special under Jose.

Looks a lot more relaxed now and his game looks a lot more natural and he is making much better decisions and I think there is still more to come from him. He was brilliant today and that run and the two bits of skill in it was incredible.

Shows you what confidence and trust from your own manager can do for you. He was absolutely excellent today! Ake, Cook and Daniels must have been breathing a sigh of relief when he came off as he was running them ragged!

Speaking about when he came off, I’m sure Martin Tyler mentioned he had a groin strain? Really hope it ain’t nothing serious as he is easily right now our best striker.

Yeah, said he was off to get treatment on a groin strain.

That flick flack

Carrick to Berbatov vs Spurs in FA Cup at Old Trafford.

So much quality from start to finish.

Top attitude, and he's clearly taking this chance to prove he's up to been our first choice CF, he has so much more to offer than Lukaku, he just needs to work on his finishing, pundits can point to Lukaku's price tag all they want but what's Rashford worth?

It came to the point where I was wanting him to stop closing down so much for fear of him running himself into the ground, which he maybe did, if he's out for the next game then over to Lukaku to top what he did today.

He's only 20! Great technique and a good finisher with the potential to become great.

He'll improve under Ole. To those who think he's championship quality.... I shake my head.

I'm seeing this alot round here since Jose's gone and its getting silly.Like, why would you want to one up your own clubs fanbase and laugh in their faces because their opinion differentiated from yours ?
Its dumb and childish.Move on.

Finally looking the player we all hoped he could become. I also like that he’s constantly after the defender in possession, doesn’t give them a second to think

That elastico on the run though....

He was brilliant! He is showing plenty of confidence to go along with his motor, which wasn't always the case. If he manages to stay calm in 1v1 and improves his finishing, he can become one of the best players in the league/world in a few years.

It’s almost as if being played in your position in a system that suits you improves you as a player. :wenger:
