After last season hype, Rashford has been acting like a big star. He has been lazy, gutless and now wants to force United to play him by stalling on his contract. Sell him and bring in Lukaku.
On Fifa maybe, however in real life it's quite the opposite.

I'm very optimistic that the article is complete garbage. He's almost playing every match and is one of Mourinho's core of 16 or so players.

If not, he can always make himself the next Saido Berahino with his entitlement.

I'm certain the article is crap though.

It's definitely garbage. You could *almost* argue that he's played too much :p

Would love to see him on the right again. Think he's a much much more dangerous version of Lingard and would really stretch the play from that side, especially on counters where his instinct would be full speed instead of stopping to cut in. One of these Europa legs would be good for that.

Now that Lukaku, Ageuro and Sanchez could be available in the summer, United should not be blackmailed by Rashford.
I think any one of these player will improve United drastically, especially Sanchez who will create tons of chances and even scores himself.

He signed a contract in May and has played 30-odd games since. What a terrible piece of baiting this article is. I suppose Martial is now happy and squashed all rumours of unhappiness the other day, so they need to find someone else to pick on.

I can confirm Sanchez is better than Rashford and is capable of scoring himself.

We should publicly say we are in for Lukaku, that'll show Rashford I am sure.

First it was Mkhitarayan, then it was Martial now its Rashford. I lose track of the speculation. All seems a bit pie in the sky. If Rashford wants to leave though it would be odd given his age and the support given to him by Mourinho.

Talk about plucking a story from nowhere. He has got a lot more minutes than his performances have deserved.

I wouldn't be averse to sending Rashford out on loan for next season. Players like Sturridge and Lukaku certainly benefited from getting loaned out at young ages to get experience. If he got a full season of starts at somewhere like Newcastle, we could easily get a much improved Rashford back in time for the 2018/19 campaign.

Young and English generally equals a cnut manipulated by agents to be fair. Hope its not true.

He's done nothing to deserve playing more, if anything he's played too much.

Was your account a christening gift to you?

This time last year, he was plays U18s football. The idea that he's demanding a starting spot is BS.

He's made 31 appearances this season at 19 years of age. This story has got to be complete bull. His agent can feck off.

Disappointing IF true. Could understand his frustration to an extent though. He's being forced to play in a position where he has no effect ahead of a player who is much better than him there. Mourinho could easily remedy the situation by resting Ibra more and subbing Rashford in at striker. If he's gone to the press he can feck off loan to the Championship, he's seems like a good kid though so i doubt he has, it's probably more reasonable to assume the presses arses have gotten itchy again.

This sounds absolutely ridiculous.

If he's unhappy, he can feck right off. He's played well more than he deserves to, looking like a headless chicken in a lot of games. Don't understand this at all.

Spoke to someone who knows him very well today and unsurprisingly the story is complete and utter bollocks

I swear every time a wide player/forward/attacking midfielder gets benched this season, newspapers come out with this tripe. Every single cocking time. First it was Mata, then it was Rooney, after that Mkhi, then Rooney again, then Martial and now it seems to be Rashford. I guess Lingard will be the next one. Either we have the dressing room made up of the most delicate flowers in the world (in which case, feck 'em) or certain "journos" are making this shit up as they go along.

I know a lot on the Caf don't like him but Pilib de brun has chimed in on the story.

If this is true then its laughable. Rashford is a kid, what more can he expect?

He might still be in the reserves right now but for a massive injury crisis this time last year.

There have been so many of these X on the way out stories it's hard to credit them. If any are true though, so be it.

Nobody in our side has been that great this year. Complaining about being left out based on average showings should embarrass Man Utd players.

What utter gash. He's living the dream! He was a kid who was thrown in at the deep end and took his chance - he was by no means one was was always going to make it, and now his skills are developing, and there are still no guarantees.

What's all this about stalling on a contract. Isn't he signed up until 2020? He's stalling on a pay rise?

I doubt there's anything in this. That guys sounded like a complete knob. "Jose feels he has to sell one of Rashford or Martial in the Summer" Give me a break!

If he really is unhappy about playing time, which I doubt, we could always just loan him out for half a season. Absolutely know reason to sell.

Waiting for all the inevitable comments about how Rashford is ungrateful etc. When in reality it's most likely some pretend ITK talking crap. Rashford has been roundly praised all season for having a good attitude and said himself that he's happy to train hard and learn from Zlatan.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit.

There have been rumbling about his attitude off the pitch before this. The guy who leads Sunday Supplement said that he was building some massive home and adding to his ever growing car collection.

Not that he shouldn't be allowed to spend money on luxury things.

From Rashford's perspective, you can see why he'd be unhappy. He rarely plays through the middle anymore. If he was playing under a manager like Pep, Tuchel or maybe even Klopp, he'd be leading the line. Not playing every game is probably the right call for his career in the long term, but young lads want to play. When you go from being first choice to squad rotation, it's a big change.

The thing is, I never know why managers give debuts to young guys like him if they're not going to keep him in regular contention. It's like when we promoted Macheda. He scored some important goals for us after a run of excellent form for The Reserves. To then expect him to drop down to Reserve level after tasting the heights of the game, must be very difficult. It's hard to motivate yourself at that lower level. We've seen this with Joyce's comments about Januzaj and Wilson. That's why it's so important to give players their debut at the right time.

Seems like the last kid who would get a big head and have a bad attitude. All I've ever heard is how modest and level headed he is. Jose has been full of praise for his attitude all season. I just don't see it in him. Perhaps he was misquoted or taken out of context. Could also just be completely made up.

I do agree that he's been developed badly this season. He's a striker and should be given so time there instead of being put into some weird fight for a position that doesn't even suit him. There's no good reason why Jose can't take Zlatan off from time to time and develop Rashford as a striker
