Moyes did look a bit uncomfortable holding the shield. He did say that he considered this trophy to be one of Fergie's as it was Fergie who got them there, so it's understandable he didn't milk the moment. Saw him play in preseason and really think he will be able to make the first team in the near future. Got loads of technical ability and just needs to add a bit more strength. Could be the replacement for Rooney should he decide to leave.

I don't think it benefited the Community Shield as a curtain raiser for a Championship side to be involved today, for Wigan the match couldn't but be seen as a tad inconvenient after all. However with these occurrence remaining relatively rare i doubt they'll elect to change matters.
The best thing about the game today was that we finally found Ed Woodward.
We didnt create much, we looked to be in second gear for most of the game. Anderson adds more to our team than Cleverly. I think we will still be reliant on RVP goals.
