Carrick and Blind in midfield with Mata allows us to be stable defensively and gives us a link between midfield and attack in Mata. we'll probably play Fellaini though and Januzaj on the wing instead of Di Maria.

If we had only lost because of the defensive feck ups and not added the mental capitulation on top, I'd think we could bounce back well in this match. Now, looks doubtful. Expecting us to struggle against their midfield and Kane is in better form than any player we've faced in the last few months.

Because playing right back and right wing are two different jobs. Valencia is better overlapping and receiving the ball for a cross, rather than taking on players and crossing it.

He would do a better job than Januzaj though, how many failed attempts does it take for Januzaj to beat 1 man? at least for Valencia his "hit and run" - although predictable, doesn't get intercepted and he is stronger than most defenders, i can't say the same about 'twinkle toes'.
