He pressed well and had some good passes and whatnot, but that's not what you need of a striker. He's awful at the one thing a striker is meant for. He plays like a competent midfielder forced to play as a center forward. If anything, he should be playing in the midfield.

However we improved significantly in second half still need to really see United put teams to the sword 5 and 6, that happens when you have true elite finishers in the squad.

I really like the look of Pellistri, he's fearless, like Garnacho, but seems to offer a different threat. He seems better at weaving through tight spaces, whereas Garnacho is a speed merchant who loves running at defenders. Very encouraged by these two. The start of the sequence that led to Wout's goal, Pellistri takes on 3 defenders, gets past them, then beats them on the byline, and sets up a good shot for McT. Pellistri has got talent.

Next season, with Garnacho, Pellistri, and possibly Diallo back, we will be unplayable.

No a part of Sunday was both R and L backs were not in the game at all. As for tonight a great result and please can we support united and stop this downing one player, in favour of another, nonsense. The most thing annoying me is why the media want to push for one of our players to be sent of and this week it is Bruno. Its like an obsession with them now. I really don't see this response with other teams or am i missing it. Its at most a yellow but Bruno has his foot to block the ball and pulls it away yet they calling for a red.

They are, with all the games we have can we be happy we have Antony and hopefully Pellistri's assist helps him in the eyes of Ten hag and this will allow straight swaps and keep Bruno central. Maybe we can see Garancho and Pellistri on the field at the same time soon to keep players fresh.

Good win but a bit disappointed we didn't score more. Some selfish play from Antony when he tried to chip the keeper.

Glad for Weghorst and Pellestri, one needed a goal badly and the other impresses again in a brief cameo.

Hopefully Pellestri gets the start he deserves at some point, maybe over at Betis.
