Brunos moaning is doing my head in when he’s just been as wasteful

As exciting as he’s been Amad needs a lot of work on his final ball and work around the box

Amad dummy there sums up our attacks as a whole. There’s no real innate natural instinct in their game in front of goal

I like Højlund but he really isn't good enough to lead the line for United right now. You think any centre back pairing is scared coming up against him?
So why do you like him? 72m for a squad player.

We look like a team who have had an absolute bollocking for being selfish after the weekend and now we’re overthinking being selfless too much.

That last play was hilarious. Stepping over the ball in the box, wtf? Must’ve heard Georgie Best’s ghost calling for him to leave it!

Amads dribbing and close control is so good that it makes people forget some other gaping flaws in his game

Yeah. The control and running make people think of him as a player they want him to be, maybe even the player he could be... but not the player he is. He has flaws in his game. It is not strange that ETH and RvN dont see him as a starter.

Loads on this sub refuse to criticise Hojlund no matter what. It's always someone else's fault whereas Garnacho's become a punching bag. I'll praise and criticise players based on merit in an individual game. You clearly have an agenda because Hojlund wasn't even open.

Here's the picture so people can actually see for themselves. Literally impossible for Garnacho to pass through an opposition player:

I said it before but Casemiro has made twice as many good runs into the box as Hojlund so far this game. He has a complete lack of a strikers instinct and knowledge of where he should be running into.

We have three distinctly average forwards, two defensively minded central midfielders, and Bruno trying to tie that together. Welp.

    Save us Ruben.

Bruno back to his first time lofted 'through balls' deep into a penalty area. He just can't resist some 'creative' vision.

Honestly, I find nothing redeeming about how we play.

One of my main hopes for Amorim's tenure is that he will end our ultra cautious possession style. When we have the ball it feels like we aim only to circulate possession. There is very little sign that we are building towards anything. Sterile possession.

For the amount of the ball we have the number of chances we make is embarrassing.

Once the CAF used to complain about zombie football. That was infinitely more intense and intent filled than the 45 minutes I just watched. Other than Amad trying a few mazy runs. Even Bruno has become a bit of a coward on the ball. We play like the aim is not to lose rather than to win.

That was terrible. After a bright start(by our own dire standards) it faded away.

That Amorim guy better be the best manager since SAF. No other way he is turning this shite into anything otherwise
Scary cause 60% of these players technically aren't good enough to play his football....

Amad has had a dummy to opposition, a double backheel to opposition and quite a few passes to the opposition.

    His current form is woeful.

This is not even about individuals, just a very poorly coached unit. We really have to huff and puff to get the ball up in attack, and yet they seem to rip through our team very easily.

Same old story. Just so so bad in the final 3rd.
Bad all over, they play at a walking pace here. Just look at defenders playing back and forth to each other last ten mins like they have all the time in the world. Fuming at the lack of urgency from these useless players

We were sleepwalking that half. Felt like a pre season friendly. Need to pick it up in the 2nd half.

How is that not open?? The defender even lunges before the pass.
Højlund has been abysmal this half but his movement there was correct. Garnas final ball is awful 9 times out of 10

You call this cautious? We treat the ball like molten lava.

Rashford for Garnacho and Zirkzee for Hojlund we win this game easy.

This the type of game that will suit Zirkzee dropping deep, which will create more space for our wide players.

I'd be very surprised if Amad stays the whole 90 mins.

As usual his leash will be much shorter.

Thank god I didn't go tonight.

The Hojlund brigade going defend another invisible man performance again. Amad put the ball on his forehead and he fluffed it on to the centre backs head.

Amorim is going to have to be the greatest attacking mind that ever lived to turn these attackers into volume goal scorers.

I fear for him honestly. Our players combine a shocking lack of technique with average tactical/game knowledge. Very frustrating bunch from defence to attack.

We are an absolute shambles, what the feck was that last passage of play before half time.somebody SHOOT.
