I'm not one for sensationalism but we are relegation candidates at present

Of course they were responsible. Matic vacated acres of space behind him because he committed himself at the throw in and Young didn't get goal side of the striker so two mistakes there. . The 2nd goal was on Young as well. I feel for Bailly. Hope his confidence isn't wrecked after this.
Jose making some crazy decisions and people expect players to know what they're doing. Even Scholes wasn't having a go as he recognises as a former player that the entire team is devoid of confidence.

Wonder if Mourinho will blame Young and Matic?

Fans want him gone, players want him gone, he’s even seemingly self sabotaging with his tactics and subs and just wants the pay out.

It would be absolutely mental to keep him at the club after this game. I only wish we could replace half this team as well.

I'm surprised Pogba's getting stick. He's reacted more adequately than anyone.

He's the best player in the team by a mile, but people have outrageous expectations of him, whereas others like McTominay get applause for a tackle or a 5 yard ball.

So what ? I'd rather him being a twat and world class. He's bang average.

So what? He’s having his personality questioned. I realise it’s the match day thread and jam packed with menstruation but I won’t see his character assassainated in here. Young is a top bloke and top professional. Have a bit of respect for a player who has been nothing but respectful and professional for this club for the best part of the last decade.

Once we've sacked Mourinho we'll have some dick like Pogba or Lukaku score against Young Boys and kiss the badge acting like they care but they can feck off.

They don't give a shit about the club.

Does any player care about their club anymore though? Most players at leading clubs are there from a combination of playing at the top level like the CL, wages, and opportunities to win trophies. Doesn't excuse them not being professional though.

The players should be ashamed of themselves. Matic has been feckin useless for sometime.
And Bailly and Young combiec for the first and Smalling, Young for the second.
I really don't think our players are good enough. Nothing special about them apart from Pogba but he blows hot and cold and he can't do anything all by himself.
Lukaku should never get inside and he is messing things up by trying to play in the centre.

Taking off Bailly and moving Mctominay to contrebac probably trumps even any of Van Gaal's weird substitutions.

I'm guessinng it's because he wants us to pass out from the back better, but there's no justification for Mctominay being near a PL team, let alone our starting line up, let alone being played out of position when the whole team's confidence is shot to pieces.

Pogba's the only one who looks like he hasn't completely lost his head, so I would give him some leeway, except it's his childish acting up that's helped put the club in this position in the first place.

Ashley Young has also reached new levels of bad. Every time the ball comes to him or near him something stupid happens.

IMHO he has very few players he feels he can trust as most are trying to force him out. He can’t win and it’s a sad state when players are forcing the manager out, especially when a complete idiot will be choosing his replacement.
This is now the third club where players have wanted him out. Perhaps that's an indication there's a fundamental problem with the man and not the players who can't stand him.

I agree on that point, he's not even good enough for England.

Where is Valencia? Why not play Dalot, you know, the player he actually signed?
Dalit was the natural choice of Valencia is not fit. I think there is more in his Instagram like than many think. That tweet recant he posted was not his words.

I'm not sure if it's been done before, but would the ref stop the match if someone threw a white towel on the pitch?

As much as I’ve actually grown to like Fellaini recently....ffs

Well yeah that's the huge thing.

I don't expect them to love the club, but at least play with respect.

They've clearly stopped fecking trying and i'm sick of it.

This is excruciating to watch. It’s not a surprise though. You could just feel their confidence after getting that first and immediately going for the second. Just like Brighton and WH. It’s a crazy time to be alive
