City have every reason to be confident, but we’re a wounded animal. A draw is doable, but it’s hard to see us beating this City side.

Calm, waiting for the storm sadly but I’ll be angry if Pogba is anywhere near the team.

Haha. Pretty much the same. Though I do think Pogba will come on in the 2nd half..

Nervous. I’d be calm if I knew a loss would get him sacked, but it won’t. I think we’ll lose but “put up a fight” and the top reds will talk about how hard we tried & how that’s a sign Ole is the man.

well you better cheer for the blues than

I have no faith in him being a top manager in the making, but at the same time, I want us to win and definitely avoid a heavy humiliating defeat that would further derail our season. This team has to develop a winning mentality, regardless of Ole.

We're losing this. Feck Pogba and the diamond, did Ole not learn anything from the Arsenal game?

Shaw out for a month with torn muscle now playing twice in 4 days.

A win, and we're back in the top 4. Hoping this game suits Ole's counter attacking underdog style..

Hope they don't line up without a striker.

Yes, i am aware of that.

I will probably start shitting it at the start, but now it's all just bland.

Really feel they fecked it up crashing out of the CL, and we will suffer mentally because of it.

Todays poor performance and another loss will be our downfall.

Glad Pogba starts. Might as well utilize him whilst he's here. More deserving of a start than VdB based on their last couple of outings.

Probably a midfield diamond, but if its Fred again at the base of it, its gonna be ugly.

Maybe Pogba as a LW? Who knows.

I really don't like this split strikers stuff. Rashford maybe but Greenwood always seem to struggle to keep the width, and we become to easy to defend against. Fred and Scott have a big role to play: if they can control the ball, we won't have our CBs and full backs getting sucked in in the middle, and that should avoid the kind of ball Leipzig were lucky to be able to do against us.

The rest, looks like VdB, Martial is to try to win the game. I am surprised James is not around for a game like that, but I suppose we expect a tight game.

I think Pogba starting makes the club as a whole look weak and desperate. But if we get a win, does that matter to Ole?

Just shows he doesn't rate VDB.

So Pogba wide left I suppose, more or less in a free role. Rashford probably out right and Greenwood through the middle.

Looks like we anticipated it, since we have Bruno AND Pogba to counter the midfield being crowded.

Looks like the standard 4-2-3-1 only with Bruno as a false #9.
Or Diamond. not really different either way.
Basically same tactics OGS used to beat Spurs ages ago, when Lingard played at the tip. If the team is up for it, it's a good plan.

What does that mean? The problem isn’t just the attitude it’s the crap performances that come with it. VDB should be starting for me.

Pogba against that City midfield inspires zero confidence.
Citys midfield is slow and paceless. This is the exact midfield he should play well against imo.
Pep playing 2 sitters to fogjt off our pace.. And Bruno.

I think diamond is a horrible formation but Ole is worthless anyway I dont expect anything.
However I do agree with playing Pogba. Its in everyones best interest that he performs and we sell him in january. A few good games and who knows.
