So out of all the teams in this cup thingy, united are the only team I've yet to see play on sky? Why is that exactly? Infact I've never seen united in a pre season game on UK tv for years.

Same thing here in South Africa. Liverpool, check. Tottenham, check but no Manchester United games. Grr. Good thing I usually have a good stream.

What American propaganda shite was that just now on MUTV?

Will be interesting to see how Hernandez performs here. Would've rather seen Kagawa start with Rooney, but It's looking more likely that he is off.

Agreed he was decent against Galaxy but don't think he has performed to that level since. Looking at the player ratings for the last few games it seems that many people feel the same way.

Be crazy to sell kagawa though! Surely for the money we'd get, we would be better keeping him in the squad??

De Gea; Smalling, Jones, Evans, Valencia, Young, Herrera, Fletcher, Mata, Rooney (C), Chica

Even though I'm watching this on Sky, I'm getting the feeling I'd be better off watching a stream on MUTV.

Official Lineup

------------ De Gea --------------

Jones ---- Smalling ----- Evans

Valencia - Fletcher -- Herrera -- Young

---------------- Mata ------------------

-------- Rooney (C) ----- Hernandez

I wasn't that bothered when you guys beat us in the carling cup last season (mainly because I knew you wouldn't win it with Moyesie in charge) So even if you lot win tonight it means feck all. We have a plan in motion under rodgers and a friendly match means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Having said that, come on the POOOOL!!

Yeah I'm excited to see how he performs with a few games under his belt, by then he'll be used to the players around him and the system.
I think top top teams (like United) need players who can perform at that 'great' level consistently.

Sitting here on my couch, naked, eating a magnum ice cream, thinking about opening a can of Guinness.

Living the dream basically.

Bring on those scouse rascals, with their infamous sense of humour.

Twats!

Would actually love a pint of vitamin G now, still slightly hungover though.

If we win it's a great sign for the season ahead if we lose it means nothing and we're just dicking around in a friendly.

At some point we will have to be realistic about our squad. We are very much overloaded with players in his position and he hasn't exactly been all that great here to be honest. At some point you have to cut your losses and move on.
