Manchester United vs. Liverpool

Liverpool changing their shape by taking off Lucas and putting two up top with Sturridge and Suarez has really thrown us. Bastards!

Nah, I'm not buying that. I've defended De Gea loads on here but that goal is on him, in my opinion.

I agree that he could have maybe palmed it more out wide, but the save itself was at full stretch; in any case he shouldn't bear the brunt of the blame there.

Replay for me shows DDG could have done nothing else but what he did.

Indeed. Full stretch. Need super-human wrists to push that significantly far out. Cleverley at fault for the pass and Rafael at fault for not reacting as quickly at Sturridge. And yet people blame De Gea :wenger:

We're doing our standard thing of letting the other team into the game.

Why are we sitting off them now ? We are letting them have it and pass it around and sitting back, and we're the worst at that , I'm nervous.

They're still flogging De Gea.

No other keeper gets this kind of stick and we've some whoppers from keepers lately.

In my experience a large proportion of American commentators don't understand the game. So no one gives a feck what they think.

If DDG tries guiding that round the post and it goes in he looks a bigger twat than some of you are painting him as now. Played the percentages and got unlucky.

End.

Yes, but its the fact that our defenders are slow to react is the key issue here!

Of course. As a defender you always have to assume the worst and deal with what might happen. Rafael did not assume the worst. Sturridge did.

We're doing our standard thing of playing shit while being in front.

We won't wake up now until Liverpool equalize.
