Manchester United vs. Liverpool

Has anyone mentioned how ugly the Liverpool away kit is this season? Seriously, who would buy that shit?

Not saying poo's goal was de gea's fault, but its something opposition managers will take note off as a weakness perhaps. Shoot across the GK, he'll more than likely palm it out and the united defenders are slow to respond.

Sometimes palming it away is all the keeper can do, like there. Rafael should have been tracking the runner.

Rafael is to blame for not paying attention and other centre backs for not closing down but there's no way De Gea should be palming it out there.

Some of you will do anything to avoid blaming him, even when it's clear he's messed up. It's just the same as a few years ago when Rafael couldn't defend and everyone would pretend he wasn't to blame for goals which were clear defensive errors.

feck SAKE!! Good effort by Kagawa. Welbeck's final balls have been poor all game but his running is causing a problem

Accidental or not, it hit Vidic and he was ahead of Evra when Evra headed the ball. Therefore Vidic was offside when the ball hit him. This is one goal Vidic cannot claim.

Deflections off opponents = player goal or own-goal

Deflections off team mates = always team mate's goal... that's the common rule in stat-keeping.

Aside from this, whoever claims the goal doesn't have an impact on whether it's offside or not... don't get your logic there

It's standard shooting doctrine to have a go at goal.

He palmed it out of his net.

1. We shouldn't be losing the ball on the edge of our area like that.

2. Rafael should be aware of the runner.

This, DDG made a little mistake in the way he dealt with the shot, but then original fault is from defensive errors of other players.
DDG just does the best he can do in that situation, and makes a mess of it, can't really blame him 100%.

I think Kagawa's been alright today. Nothing spectacular but showing signs of the quality we know he has from Dortmund.

Bloody Porridge doing the 'five' thing. Gonk.

They're still flogging De Gea.

No other keeper gets this kind of stick and we've some whoppers from keepers lately.
