Barclays Premier League
Old Trafford, Manchester
KO: 1330 GMT

Team should be....

GK: De Gea

RB: Rafael
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Evans
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Cleverley
LM: Young

CF: Rooney
CF: RVP

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Vidic, Scholes, Giggs, Hernandez, Welbeck

Yep I reckon Rooney will be back

There's no reason to delay the Liverpool match thread.

Destroy the fukkin dippers.

RvP
Kagawa
Giggs Carrick Cleverley Young
Evra Evans Ferdinand/Vidic Rafael
DDG

Wouldn't be against Anderson playing where Kagawa is.

We'll twat them.

De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Young Carrick Cleverley Giggs
Van Persie Hernandez

Giggs needs to start IMO, he's been brilliant lately and our only winger who knows how to cross it. Vidic has been very good these last few games as well, and it'll be nice having a fully fit first choice back 5 for the first time in years. Rest of the side picks itself.
Saying that, I will be worried about how we'll deal with Suarez, lets just hope that we dominate possession and don't give him chances to run at us.

Evans has to play, it's then just a judgement call on who's best to deal with Suarez out of Ferdinand and Vidic

Think he's been a bit rusty to be honest.

2 free headers from Collins that perhaps an on form Vidic would have gobbled up.

Will probably be a choice of Ferdinand or Vidic, as I think Evans will start.

That decision and who plays in the Rooney slot is the only other one to make I think.

Other 9 pick themselves.

Why though? It's not like he's been in amazing form or anything. Rio's been pretty good lately, and so has Vida. On top form, they are both much better defenders than Evans, even at this age. Evans is still too rash at times for my liking, and Rio and Vidic once had the best partnership in Europe. Who's to say they can't rebuild a solid partnership, obviously not as good but it can't be worse than what our defence has been this season.

Kagawa isn't ready for this sort of huge match yet.Plus he just played 90min tonight, I can't see him start this one.Coming off the bench is a real possibility

Although would not be surprised to see any of Rooney, Nani or Anderson involved knowing Fergie.

don't think it is a good idea playing a probably 80%-90%(in terms of fitness) vidic up againts suarez, so might start with evans and rio here, and rio was brilliant at anfield earlier in the season.

valencia, due to his current form should be nowhere near the starting line up, giggs' experience could be use for this type of game.

with rooney out, hernandez to partner rvp upfront.

Rooney was due back in training but hasnt recovered yet. Out for another two weeks.
Nani is back in training. This game might be too soon for him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Nani starting in this if fit.

If we assume Giggs is out, I'd go with Giggs and go with the above.

Agree too that Vidic should not play, there is no rush for him to play in such big games and don't want him to immediately injure himself like last time becaus he is half cooked. Would rather SAF gradually increase his match fitness and form so is is properly match ready by the time the CL game vs Madrid comes around and then the business end of the season.

Solid line up with enough strength, legs and finesse to destroy Liverpool.

I really hope Anderson is fit to play... Nani would be a welcome boost too. Giggs should be used as as impact sub again while Scholes shouldn't be anywhere near the starting XI. Liverpool will most likely go with Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge upfront, I can see them causing us problems with their pace. I reckon we will win the midfield battle though, Gerrard, Henderson and Lucas is hardly something to worry about. Liverpool will miss Enrique, so whoever plays on our right should tear Wisdom a new one.
Can't wait, let's beat the crap out of the Scouse cnuts!

Who's available for the dippers?

Enrique, Kelly and Borini miss out. So I guess they will play a back four consisting of Skrtel and Agger, with Johnson and Wisdom as full-backs, Gerrard, Henderson/Allen and Lucas in midfield and Sterling, Suarez and one of Downing/Sturridge upfront.

Nani and Anderson could make a return both are back in training.

Not exactly a line up to instil fear but these cnuts always raise their game against us.

Beating these fecks will mean more now than it ever has for personal reasons which sounds daft but that's how it is.

Welbeck ahead of Hernandez for me.. Had a good game today and against Piverprool last season. If Rooney is injured, we'll need a ball carrier, as we know Hernadez is incapable of carrying the ball due to the fact his legs act as a bouncy castle for incoming balls.

Hopefully Nani, Rooney, and Anderson can be involved in some way - at least being on the bench. With all of them back things will be looking very good for us.

Nani to make a glorious return, setting up two, one each for Van Persie and Chich and then scores one himself before launching into his trademark flippy celebration which goes wrong and he injures himself.

Suarez scares me.

We should be beating them, because we are a much better team, first in the table, yet no doubt, Liverpool will give us a game, so i hate playing them, because they put up a fight and give us a game on a lot of occasions.

Does no one know that Rooney's injured? It got announced yesterday that he'd been delayed too. Unless Fergie's been telling porkies, he's nowhere near the squad.

Kagawa probably won't start. Same for Vidic, who's being used more sparingly now.

Rooney if fit yeah but the other 2 no.

They have been out too long

Suarez scares me.

Surely we have to be looking at how and who provides suarez his service.
Once we can keep the ball away from him he will have to drop deeper to pick it up, keeping him away from the goal.
If we keep him under wraps we will win comfortably

Even without a whole lot of service, Suarez is well capable of creating stuff on his own. Plus there's the unknown quantity of Sturridge in a Liverpool shirt. Suarez and possibly Sturridge and Sterling. That's a lot of pace and trickery up front to be dealing with.

Still though, at home with our attacking talent, I'd expect us to win.

Suarez to score a hat-trick while RVP gets four.
