Disappointed Chicharito isn't on the bench, he should have been on the bench rather than Macheda. I would have thought SAF would have had Macheda in mind for next week's Carling Cup game, but it seems Chicharito might play in that instead.

Why two centre mids on the bench Shouldn't we at least of had some sort of wide man option an Obertan or Park instead. I know Anderson has been played on the left, Gibson has shifted right on occasions and Rooney can also play from wide.
But surely some natural width on the bench would of been handy, if things need changing.

At least Kuyt isn't playing. He always puts in a MOTM against us.

I think we can get at their defence today. It's not a great defence and with Konchesky and Johnson at full back we can get at them. Especially with Maxi and Cole on the wings - none are great defenders.
We've just got to make sure we keep examining them, without giving them the opportunity to examine us. That's the key to this game. More flaws in their game than in ours.
