Manchester United vs. Liverpool

tbh until the two gift goals i thought this was the worst liverpool team to visit old trafford in 20 years. Gerrard was non existant and torres was falling over himself. But Football is a funny game and once a team has a little confidence it changes.

thank feck that Berba showed his class.

This is the day we will look back on as the day Berba Became a United Legend

My summary of the game (I know you're dying to hear it):

Was really happy not to see Kuyt/Lucas/Jovanovic in the same team. Meant we passed the ball better, nothing penetrative but better. Nani was the player I feared the most, thankfully he spent most of the game on his ar8e 'injured'. The one game Berbatov decides to turn up for in a season, he did it today.

Our defending: Berbatov's first goal, a header which Torres was supposed to be marking him. Hardly any world class football played by manutd there.

Second goal: ball passed behind players, no danger. Berbatov decides to have his one in a 1000 chance shot on target and scores. Hardly any world class football in the build up.

Third goal: Shea throws a high ball into the box. No danger, Carragher's there and he's good in air. Berbatov scores. Shocking defending. No world class build up play by manutd.

Admittedly our goals were hardly world class either, but we're not pretenders for the league title or playing at home. I saw enough of our players to be happy that we can win most of our next five games, looking at 10-12 points in the next 15.

Erm, its on?

:lol::lol:

I'm covered in bitterness right now, that's how much it's flowing out my screen.

For those genuinely asking of my seeing something in the team all teams go through bad patches, specially at the start of a season. You lot are notorious slow starters and manage to click at the right time.

For me, Miereles, Cole and even Poulson greatly improve what we had in Lucas, Kuyt and Aquilani. David Ngog is also starting to make a name for himself, let's hope he doesn't fizzle away. And Pacheco is sitting on the bench while us fans are urging to start using him more, hopefully it will happen later in the season. Plus Gerrard and Torres haven't got injured yet, if they can stay injury free then that's always a good season for Liverpool fans.

I've got enough to keep me going. Might all change by November when the above mentioned players turn out to be made of straw.

feck, yours has been a season and a few games now of a bad patch. That's one long bad patch.

Arsenal - 1 point
Man City - 0 points
West Brom - 3 points, just
Brum away - 1 point
ManUtd away - 0 points

are the games we've had so far.

Can anybody PM me a link to a site where I can download it?

I will be forever in their debt.
