Manchester United vs. Liverpool

What a bloody match, and what the feck are you doing to us defence? Thank god today we managed to get the 3 points, but they never should have been in it, they were absolute shite. Never worked VDS the whole match and only through two set plays, they got their goals.

Dimitar Berbatov, I love you. From the start I've backed you, and for a while towards the end of the last season, doubts started to creep in but I always maintained that if you started putting more effort in and getting more goals, then we'd see the real Berbatov.

GO ON UNITED!

Did anyone notice how Wayne Rooney went on to keep the ball in their half in the injury time?

And people were saying Rooney wouldn't have had any influence in the game vs Everton.

Bloody hell what a game!! Have a few pints in me now but feck it! BERBA-TRICK!!!! yeeaah!!!! We need to shove a pole or two up our defenders arses. Might make them aware that a game is still going on around them.. Scoreline completely flattered them. They played decently for about 10 minutes in that game and got 2 goals gifted to them by us. Hope SAF gives them a right ole bollocking!

I noticed how Berbatov after being subbed didn't acknowledge the fans' applause. There was a last minute raise of hands to weakly kill a fly but nothing more. He knows he's not loved there, but hattricks like that will probably help.

:lol::lol:

Just watch Chelsea now to get your bearings again. Us and Everton are not that much better than Blackpool at the moment.

My summary of the game (I know you're dying to hear it):

Was really happy not to see Kuyt/Lucas/Jovanovic in the same team. Meant we passed the ball better, nothing penetrative but better. Nani was the player I feared the most, thankfully he spent most of the game on his ar8e 'injured'. The one game Berbatov decides to turn up for in a season, he did it today.

Our defending: Berbatov's first goal, a header which Torres was supposed to be marking him. Hardly any world class football played by manutd there.

Second goal: ball passed behind players, no danger. Berbatov decides to have his one in a 1000 chance shot on target and scores. Hardly any world class football in the build up.

Third goal: Shea throws a high ball into the box. No danger, Carragher's there and he's good in air. Berbatov scores. Shocking defending. No world class build up play by manutd.

Admittedly our goals were hardly world class either, but we're not pretenders for the league title or playing at home. I saw enough of our players to be happy that we can win most of our next five games, looking at 10-12 points in the next 15.

Erm, its on?

relegation?

That's the sort of match that showcases why we love football, the highs and the lows that were experienced, just an emotional roller coaster.

Wonderful hat-trick from Berbatov, I hope he can keep this form up all season.

On the worrying side though our defense are sabotaging us with carelessness and it needs nipping in the bud.

Blackpool, West Ham, Stoke, Wigan, West Brom.

Liverpool, Everton, West Ham, Fulham, Newcastle.

Do you think Chelsea would muller Everton and Liverpool if they played them at home right now? I think Chelsea would win both games 3-0.

He's too lazy to applaud.

I don't think I've ever seen a Liverpool side play with such a lack of spirit. They'll struggle against anyone if they play like that.

Your pulling out your Chelsea scarf a bit early this year aint ya? normally its not until late November when your lot start donning the Chelsea merchandise and become honoury renties...

Lets be honest, you were spanked all over the place, 3-2 hugely flatters you, 5-0 was about par from that game.

We are woeful in that department at the moment. We've played Arsenal and Manutd and have come away with a goal difference of -1 and 1 point. That's a bonus in both cases.

Had we played Chelsea in this period.....:nervous::nervous::nervous:

With your 'defending' (tm), no. Teams are expected to score at least 2.

Er, probably. :(

I would be worried by your own side more than what United are doing if I were you.

Liverpool had two attempts on target today, one was the free kick, the other the penalty. Then had a decent ten minute spell but that was all they offered.

United have no issues going forward, and could have had a hatfull more goals today. Everytime United went forward, Liverpool were struggling.

Like Fergie said, all Liverpool did was look at the Linesman and try and get fouls off Torres.

You were pulverized dummy, lets not beat around the bush mate it was as one sided a game as any fixture between the two for years, we even had the luxury of playing a 2 man central midfield with a 35 year old in there it was that easy, normally we go for 5 in the middle in such games it was a testament to how ordinary you are we felt a 35 year old scholes didnt need any help in there, and he didnt.

Even reading some comments on RAWK, amongst probably the most bitter hate filled football fans you'll ever find they even admit 3-2 was flattery to the extreme on your side, how you got out of that game with anything other than a 4 goal hiding remains a mystery, it was a disgrace you even levelled at one point really.

Cough, NANI pussy, cough. ;)

My own side is in its 'difficult' stage at the moment. I can see lots of promise but it needs to blossom. Not saying we'll win the league or finish 4th comfortably or anything. Just I can see something.

But, you not winning 19 or 4 is just as important to me. So we're stuck with each other.

you can see " something " in a team which nearly won the league two years ago? that's a bid sad, wouldn't you say?

Its very sad indeed Erica. But that's what you get when dufus business men sell the soul of your club. You'd be 20-6 by now had the glazers allowed Ferguson to replace Ronaldo adequately. To dismantle your 3-in-a-row winning team was a disgraceful period in your history.

Here's me thinking it's the worst Liverpool side in living memory. Well, I'm glad you can see something.
