I'm baffled by what our actual strategy is for getting players fit this summer. What are all the players who came back late due to the Euros/Copa doing now? Surely their first game isn't going to be vs City in the community shield?
What are city doing with Foden, Stones, Walker, Alvarez etc?

They will likely play behind closed doors friendlies as we've done every pre season. Whilst our injury crisis was severe last season, it was also a one off in terms of that many injuries in a season. I highly doubt all these professionals that we have hired (often with successful careers in their fields) do not know what they are doing.
"Rival in Reds World Series" is enough to make me lose interest. Even something like "Soccer USA go go go Championship" is better.

My only interests in this one are:
1. Seeing more of the youngsters that are being tipped to make the first team (Amass, Collyer) against more proper opposition.
2. Seeing more of what shape ETH intends to deploy this season. More of last year's suicide ball or finally playing with two midfielders sitting back like a normal human being.

Lineup today is gunna be very close to what we saw a lot of last season, and I full expect a defeat and abject performance. Feel like the mood around this place is gunna be awful for the next week.
