I agree with those who say the game was lost in midfield. But I was pleased with Anderson.
Missing VDS, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Hargreaves (if he still counts), Carrick, Fletcher, Valencia & Giggs (for half the match), and Scholes.
But still the side put out has no excuse to lose to a League One side.

apart from a few individual pieces of skill and a couple of passes berbatov was yet again a waste of space - totally toothless
owen isn't a good footballer and the one thing we bought him for - his 'finishing' - has been shite also - another chance today and he swipes at it and misses it
we also look very ordinary in midfield with no carrick or fletcher
we need a serious shake up in the summer or we risk becoming a one man team with rooney our only potent threat

I believe there is nothing wrong with being gracious in defeat. Especially when the team deserved it.

i feel bloody sick of this, quite simply our squad isn't good enough....all this 1-0 losses at home, besiktas, villa and of all team a league one side, bloody pathetic.....
I look at that 2nd half and I just think we were unlucky. People on here moan if a match ends with us not giving a shit or showing desire (like against Liverpool recently or against Barcelona) but I think in the 2nd half, we were better and we deserved something in the end but it just didn't happen. Well done Leeds, you cnuts.

in my opinion we should use players like Tosic, Foster, De Laet and where is Nani? It doesn't hurt that much when you play with the second team, but now this losing hurts.
Gibson is not a premier league player, and today couldn't shine against league one opposition..He simply ain't good enough..Anderson was on his own in there again
Sorry, it wasn't our full strength side - no Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes or Evra. Valencia & Giggs didn't come until the 2nd half. If it was our full strength, the midfield would have had Fletcher and Carrick/Scholes, Evra would have started LB, and also Valencia & Giggs would have started on the wings. We created chances, but we didn't take any of them as we fluffed them.
its was only the last 5 minutes when we had them pinned in their box though
not good enough - we had 2 half decent chances before the last 5 really with welbeck and rooney shooting over
this is against a team who went to a replay against kettering
too many games we just havent looked like scoring
yes i agree with you there - if two of those half chances had fallen a little luckier, we wouldn't have been sitting here like the world has ended.

Owen mis-kicking that pass into him was the biggest facepalm moment of the season. Terrible terrible stuff from us today.
Still, if you've been supporting United long enough you'll know we're always capable of at least one of these utterly shite results every season or so. That's football and in a way it's great that Leeds can come to our stadium and beat us. Shows that football is still competitive. Embarrassing result but no point worrying. If there's no reaction against City, then we can worry.

It does hurt more against Dirty Leeds and The Scousers but if they deserved to win then so be it..We can only blame ourselves for such inept performances and congratulate Leeds for playing with a passion that we simply did not match..

Gary Neville shouldn't have played as he is too too slow. Fabio is really weak. Darren Gibson is very lazy. Berbatov's thinking is too far ahead for his team mates. Wayne rooney thought that this is a practice session and he shooting any old how. Kuszcak has proven that he is only good in stopping shots but does not like to come out and cover his defenders. SAF and his coaches took off the best midfielder (Anderson) that can win the ball back and can make some decent passes. The way Obertan and Wellback played, they need a bigger and wider field.
Well what SAF said is all b000000t (trying to win all 4 trophies) as with this type of combination, he may end up winning some Easter eggs.
Even though I do not like MU to loose, but I predict that United will be out of all cup competitions this season if they do not go out and buy some exceptional good players to supplement the existing lot. So what if some of the injured players are on their way back to fitness. Those players will be extra careful and will not put in 100% effort as they do not want to get another injury because of the World Cup.

Anyone watch SAF interview on MUTV? He reckoned that Valencia was the only one that played well. I loved his response to the question, "Will Vidic be ok for Wednesday night". "I couldn't tell you was his reply." Must be the worst Job in the world interviewing SAF after a result like this.
yep we were better if it comes down to possession but look at the chances they had and the free kick that hit the post/bar - there wasn't much in it
