Rashford winds me up on the left. Constantly looking to shoot, doesn't play the pass at the right time and isn't interested in finding the striker. Should either play up front or not at all. Hopefully ole sees that before the season starts.

It's not the worst problem to have at 21. He's got all the attributes to be a great forward but wisdom comes with age.

We don't need to replace Matic, we need cover for him. Fergie always used to protect players going on 30 and protect them/ allow their bodies to play at a high intensity with weeks preparation for every single game.
World class players don't stop being world class players when they reach 30. Even Giggs/ Scholes used to play half our matches in the early 30s. Here Matic plays whenever available, it s time for both him and Sanchez to become squad players never playing 2 games in a row. I think we d get a lot more out of both

I think Lingard’s best quality is driving with the ball rather than creating space as some would say.

I agree. We seem to hit a bit of a wall when it gets slowed down and players have to think. Encouraging other than that though and that might come with a few games.

It's been a really impressive first half team performance. Alright we've not scored despite being on top but the change in our play has been refreshing.
