Manchester United vs Dortmund (Mon 31st July, 02:00 UK time)

Pellestri's first touch while taking the ball mid-run is elite level. Possibly the best in the squad alongside Mount.

Poor Forson. The lad looks on the verge of tears.

Forson kicked Ryerson after he was dispossed, strange how none of the commentators picked up on that.

Pellistri is so direct and skilled, but runs into blind alleys a lot. If he can improve on that, defences will hate him.

Starts 18.08. Werder - Bayern.

But a week earlier already the first round in the Cups start. And even if it is against lower teams - 2nd league e.g. started Friday, some other leagues run since 2 weeks. It is not a given for Bundesliga teams to get to second round. We usually do not play the youngsters in such matches as there only is about 6 rounds and there is just one cup event.

He probably didn't want Forsun pushing another yellow and ruining his run out plans
I mean it had calmed after the incident which I don't think he was at fault for either. Just 8 mins til half. Unneccessary imo

Huh feel kinda bad for him. Should've left it at you lost your head, I need 11v11 in my pre-season game for fitness.

Maguire's passing been quality, love to watch him play when he's on it.

I love watching Pellistri on the pitch. Really dynamic.

Sancho looks great. Looks faster and quicker and more confident.

A couple of overhit and underhit passes from opening them up a few times this half, good signs though.

Brilliant turn Sancho, just not getting the weight on his final balls though. He has it in him, just needs it to click

VDB couldn't even beat Sule who has Maguire like pace.

It was a straight red card offense imo. Kicking someone on the achilles like that can injure a player and it had nothing to do with the ball.

God damn, I love this version of Sancho. Just keep him at CF.
