Yeah Vidic has been predictably rock solid too. I think Rooney edges it though because he's been the only player on the pitch who has actually looked capable of doing something attacking wise. Anything good has come through him.

Can't believe we haven't thrown ourselves at Chelsea. They look so much slower and less dynamic than previous Chelsea teams. Benitez had them playing much better football that we struggled against in almost every game against them last season. There's just nothing to them tonight. Nani or Mata would've made a real difference to this game. Both sides were missing that little bit extra.
