Rather Valencia at RB and Jones/Vidic in CB, hell I'd even have Jones/Carrick. Its lauaghable how many they will score, no pace at all. :nervous:

Martinez has played CB a million times in his career, don't think the pundits realise.

No point laying down to them for 90 mins. What is the advantage of playing at home then. I think we got good pace going forward with Valencia and welbeck. We need to be lot better with the final ball than what we did against city. If we do that, we just might have a chance.

"We had a deal in place to get Kroos in but after he got to play two legs against us he got to see how terrible we were and how bad I am tactically, it was very unlucky that we got that draw. I'll continue to try very hard to get a quality midfielder in and I just can't understand why it's not happened for us so far, we've put a lot of bids for various top quality midfielders in but nothing stuck".

How is it laying down? It's just a different way of defending.
 
Moyes always gave the much better teams a good game as Everton manager at home. I have faith that this type of game is suited perfectly to him, where we are the underdogs and he needs to try and nick one.

Even our great 08-10 team only struggled against Everton at home.
 
I've been critical of the 'fans' lately but to be told to go and support another club takes the biscuit.

Try and ask me my background, what I do, where I've been with the club then ask it again. Bellend

The main thing that stands out for me in that team is a distinct lack of pace in defence and midfield.

like I said I expected Moyes to have Valencia at rb. Moyes almost always starts with one of Young and Valencia on the flanks I expected Young to start. I'm sure Young missed quite a few of our group stage games due to injury.

Müller is a very mobile player and he will cause Rio and Vidic all sorts of problems with his movement and running.

Vidic would have kept the much less mobile Mandzukic very quiet, which Pep knows of course.
