I think Gibson has done quite well and Hernandez is still a livewire.
Smalling showing that, when paired with either Vidic or Rio, he steps up a gear.
Would like to see Giggs for O'Shea at some point and Valencia and Berba to get some minutes.

I don't know what else to say but "carry on" in the second half. This team selection has shown they are fighters. We just need to be sharper in the final third and we can continue to dominate the game. We would be wise to get Hernandez some decent service.

Irrespective of the final result I'm proud of the team! We're playing a team that's never played together and we're leading the 2nd best team in the league. We've defended well.

Good first half. Everybody's been decent enough. No major complaints thus far.
Not a bad first half at all, solid enough in defence, took a while for us to get going in attack though, hoofing the ball around a bit, however in the latter stages of the first half there we started to play some nice stuff in the final third. I'm confident enough based on what i saw there of a victory for us.
Both teams are going to be very tired come the last 20 minutes. Giggs, Scholes and Berba could prove very valuable to bring on.
Hopefully fergie will stick a few defenders on now, so we can protect this lead.
Gibson has been good with ball at his feet but he and O'Shea needs to help with the build-up or the defence is forced to hoof it because they have no options.

We had far the better first half against Chelsea but ended up losing. Lets hope it does not happen again.

Defense has played very well so far though look a bit weak when they come down the wing and cut in. Smalling and Vidic look good and so does VDS. Fabio and Rafael looking good on the wing, especially Fabio which is good to see s he's getting into very good positions and running behind Sagna. Rooney is playing very deep but it seems to be working quite well so far.
The biggest surprise has been Gibson for me. He's actually played decent today. His passing is good and looks good on the ball, long may it continue.

Rooney has been superb just behind Hernandez, he's basically the furthest midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Couldn't have asked for more so far, very good half by pretty much everyone.

I just have to say, Hernandez is just perfect to lead our line, his movement is unique and looking at the goal, none of Berbs or Rooney would have been able to move like that.
