Barthez did make a poor clearance at one point, but got away with it.

He made a superb save prior to the goal - he was totally isolated with Arsenal bearing down on him! Blame the defence if you must, but Barthez could have done no more than he did then.

Yes, it was not really a disaster actually. Frankly with 9 defeats and a third placing at this moment is infact quite an achievement already.

Anyway, congrat to arsenal.
