Make sure you don't go to the East coast, it's really awful - too much like Ireland.

No one follows that tournament.

Double gold medal in the olympics is all that's needed.....oh, and double for Arsenal too....

right i'm on it! while we're waiting for the kettle to boil, you can think of a credible argument for starting Forlan and leaving Ruud on the bench in such a HUGE match. take your time...i tend to let the bag brew in the cup.

Well Fergie is always right you know.

Imo, if Ruud was fit to be on the bench, he should have started. We have played our best football with Ruud and Ole up front. Wouldn't it be best to try and get something first half, then take Ruud off if necessary?

If anyone looked tired recently, it was Forlan.

It's another one of those games when the result is academic. It's the team selection.

I would rather go down fighting with our strongest eleven. Or even not fighting with our strongest eleven. What was important was starting with our strongest eleven!!!!!!!

It is??? ;)

We could find ourselves in third place now and deservedly so.

Yes not only play qualification stages but also not be seeded which means pushed in the same group as the big guns

Hello? Anybody there?

Seriously, you've had a weird season - but you'll no doubt be back. And there's still 2nd place to fight for...although that's now in our hands. :D

Well done Arsenal! Your away record sums it all up.

Game over.

Congratulations to Arsenal.

The better team on the night. The best team ALWAYS wins the Premier League.

But we'll be back.

"We'll support you evermore"

Congrats Fresno Bob and the rest.

Roll on next season ...

According to some "experts" here, all is well with our defence and they will be the meanest around to carry us to the title and CL despite the imminent departure of Blanc, Irwin and possibly Johnsen.

Wasn't it Mark Twain who said something about insanity and doing the same thing over and over again?

I think Arnie is just about the only real United fan on here at the moment.

How tall are Ole and Diego?

How tall are the Arsenal defenders?

How tall is Ruud?

Congrats to Arsenal. You deserved it. At least pool with their soul-destroying football didn't win it.

No-one can say Arsenal haven't deserved it.

Good luck to them.

Well done Arsenal, you deserved it beyond doubt this season, we were lucky to finish as high as we did (9 defeats), so not really a disaster is it?

Barthez have done it again for the arSENILE. It time to sell him. What he did against them in Highbury was again evident again tonight. Look at Keane, the expression in his face said that he has given up after that "free throw" by Barthez to Wiltord and then subsequently a "push" to the path of Wiltord to score. All his talk about kicking arsses actually was aimed at Barthez. The entire team can play well but when the goalkeeper doesn't give you the confidence, the team will suffer.

I don't think Barthez was at fault for the goal - it was a mistake by Silvestre when he was robbed of the ball and the centre-halves were caught out of position and Blanc for pace.

We REALLY, REALLY need to buy a couple of defenders this summer - failure to purchase would more likely than not result in us not winning silverware next season.

Naah - I'm really a Lancashire County Cricket Club supporter.

Who the feck are Man Utd ?

;)

It is not his mistake, but his "intention" that let the team down. A good kicker of the ball and he can still kick it straight at Wiltord?

It is a disaster to finish the season with nine league defeats

We definitely do not deserve to be champions
