Manchester United v Aston Villa Official Match Thread

Well the old 'Forlan isn't going to score' trick seems to have backfired. How about we double bluff and say he is going to score?

What ya going on about he will get a hat-trick today ;)

You've got to say, it happens every time.

Every time in the past ten years, regardless of our league position, you know that a team who hasn't won, or scored, for eons, will do it against us.

So who is worried then?
Not me remember spurs 3-0 at half time Fergie has his say job done
within 10 minutes of the second half we will be level

FFS We have to win whatever happens at the other pitches. Unfortunately we seem to think that we can get a result by playing at 50%. It used to happen but not anymore!! SAF the motivator seems to have dried out the batteries

We need a 4th striker.

Problem is, the difference is that last season we actually looked like scoring.

Wish I could take it this way. I'm convinced I will die during a match - at this rate very soon

Calm down lads. If we concede in the first half more often than not we turn it round. Haifa, Charlton anyone? Forlan looks like he's finally gonna do it today. COME ON!

Is this the 8th premiership game in a row when we have fail to score in the 1st half?

We always seem to be hungover after an away European trip.

At least we finished the half well and Villa's players know they are crap. We'll know withing 5 minutes of the restart whether we will raise our game and bowl them over or "have a bolton"

I meant that we look especially poor after a European game.

Says to me that the players aren't fired up enough when they come on, and that tactically we are wrong until he puts things right with subs in the second half.

cause we've only plyed crap teams in the CL so far!!

Villa and Bolton aren't better than Bayer and Olympiakos mate.
