Manchester United Kits 2017/18

From the footage I've seen of the match, it actually doesn't look THAT bad, really...

Third kit looks much better with the grey shorts/socks instead of the white
Came to is thread to say exactly the same.

I actually really like the shirt but it looked horrendous with white shorts & socks.

Hated the third kit when I first saw it, but it doesn't look as bad in game. Hopefully we won't wear it a lot other than against Bournemouth. Home and away are both good. Away especially is very sleek

Third kit is grey and shite. End of.

Home: B

Bland, but always like the buttons rather than just a t-shirt.

Away kit: B+

The black is sharp but I wish we'd keep blue and get back to that 13/14 look.

Third kit: F

Vomit inducing.

I saw all three kits in the Adidas shop and I have to say the black kit looks much better than the pictures I saw here. Tempted to get one now, which is a surprise given I wasn't keen on it at all when it was released

This vid shows the guy who designed the grey kit.

Looking at the kits, it seems the fans of other clubs had a greater license to be creative, whereas we were given the grey template to try and work on. I like the other designs more than ours, though Juve's third kit looks like a pyjama top.

I like the away one best. Saw the red up close and liked the black one best. I guess I am in the minority but I like the 3rd. I think it would look better without the drawing in the background.

On TV they all look good. The 3rd kit looks a million times better with the grey shorts.

Quite like all three kits this year in fairness.

Don't like the white/black cuffs on the home shirt, so I'll probably get the long sleeve shirt for games as the cuffs are red, so it's just a red and white shirt with the buttons on the front which looks infinitely better IMO.
The black shirt is just class.
The grey shirt is pretty smart too I think, doesn't really look like a football shirt which I quite like. It looked horrendous with the white shorts but the dark grey shorts looked decent.

Don't like the home jersey this season, the buttons are annoying and the piping on the sleeve looks stupid. The black jersey is the nicest while the designed by a fan jersey is just terrible. Might be the first jersey in years I don't buy and the first jersey I don't buy because it looks terrible.

Why so much hate for the grey kit? It looked decent in person to me and unlike any other kit we had recently
I got the black one and it looks great, I dont care for the new home kit though

They grey kit did not look too bad with the dark grey shorts imo. The one thing I don't like about both our away kits is that the club logo has its colour altered to dull black or grey. They don't stand out at all and the only thing that stands out is the Chevvy logo.

The black kit in particular would have looked sweet with the original red/yellow club logo.

Question.

I've tried most of the usual sites (United Store, Sports Direct, JD, Kitbag etc) and none of them seem to have the option I want.

I've seen people buying our shirt with the Champions League Logo on the sleeve and 'Europa League Winners 2017' next to it (with Respect on the other sleeve). Where do I purchase the kit with this added onto it? Or would I have to just purchase the kit and take it in-store for this to be added?

I have tried Googling it and and every site just seems to offer the option of adding the Premier League Badges, or offering the Super Cup embroidered shirt.

Cheers.

I saw a bunch of tourists wandering around Liverpool (of all places) in those, and the looked like they'd all got off a bus from the Old Trafford stadium tour. I'd assume that the shirts were bought at the megastore.

Hey all, have the squad numbers been confirmed?

I've been holding off buying my kid a shirt and he is nagging me now. I had rad in pre season they were only preliminary

No not yet. But if you want the usual suspects like Pogba, Mata, Herrera or Lukaku, their numbers should be confirmed as they are now. Matic is confirmed as 31

It was lukaku he wanted. So you reckon it's safe enough?

I would hold off getting a Pogba #6 shirt, as he switched to #10 at Juventus when the number became available, so that is still a possibility at United with Rooney now gone.

Same as his age :nervous:

I'd maybe hold off. Who knows what will happen in the transfer window. Sure, it doesn't look like we're going to be buying a megastar who would take the 9 off Lukaku, but stranger things have happened.

Just tell your kid to be patient :)
