I would love us to use the old tri-leaf adidas logo. Something like the above would be great.

I know it's obviously not what we're gunna get but feck me, that's beautiful.

A quick Google image search for "Manchester United Adidas" brings back an interesting mix of fan mock-ups.

Some are pretty neat.

And some are just bizzare

This one keeps popping up everywhere, I have a bad feeling it's going to be next years kit. It's fakin awful as well, gingham aside its probably worse than anything Nike gave us.

The stripes down the arms along with the circular pattern on the sleeves and collar look stupid, then you throw in the extra 3 stripes on the sides and its a cluster feck, they always seem to go too far when simple, retro style designs are best.

They may as well just make it in the generic way they have the Bayern/Madrid kits, some of these look awful.

Even if Alexander McQueen (probably a shit example) made our kits, that chevy logo would still ruin everything.

It ruins everything.

Yeah, I was just thinking this. Bayern's 13/14 kit looked great, but even if we had the same kit, our logo would make it 100 times worse.

Ive complained about the three stripes enough... But one last time for... At least one month. I hate Adidas kits, but I love the money they'll give us.

Footy Headlines usually has reliable sources when it comes to football kits, and here's what they say about the new United kits:

Footy Headlines understands that the new Manchester United 15-16 Home Kit will feature the traditional main color red with white 3 stripes and black applications. The new Manchester United 15-16 Away Jersey will be white / red with an elegant design, whereas the Black / Red Manchester United 2015-2016 Third Shirt will be 'anything but boring'.

I'm pretty sure I read after the Adidas deal was signed that they wanted to take us back to the old shirts they used to make for us. Expect something retro next year.

I have always been a big fan of Adidas and i am confident in their kit making abilities, they have already taken over the shoe game, i am expecting one of the classic kits to be retroed.

Something like

Knowing Adidas and our Marketing department, I really think that our next shirt is going to be very special. Because this I the biggest kit deal, and because this is United.

The idea about the retro thing is working well (Look at Bayern and Milan’s shirt this year), the fact that Adidas took back United, and they will do something.

The good thing is that the Adidas kit are better than the Nike’s (to me), but especially the rest of the products range are far better

absolutely

The Premier league should emulate the NBA and make the teams celebrate certain events by switching up the jerseys

Like the remembrance celebrations
christmas jerseys
classic nights
st patricks day etc

probably wishful thinking though
Let's just wear a new kit every game while we're at it. More money for the club that way.

There's only one real memorable moment with it:

That kit is also synonymous with one of the worst transfer windows, with Ronaldo leaving and Valencia, Owen, Obertan and Diouf coming in... ugh

Aye - that's the only saving grace with that kit, it always reminds me of that goal and G Nev going batshit celebrating!

I really liked the Chelsea kit from last season, so I decided to 'shop it and have a play, and this is what I came up with:

I know it looks similar to this season's kit, but again, this was just me messing about to see what a United version would look like.

Why are all modern shirts just generic bullshit? There's no creativity involved, just rehashed basic designs.

Very nice. As always, shame about the damn Chevy logo.

Which would you prefer:

or

?

There's no denying that the second one is far more creative. Personally I prefer simplicity.
