Did you see that Lee Sharpe back heel against Barca before the break. Total class.

I had to chuckle at the Mark Hughes header. He used to put every ouch of power he had into headers and they'd just casually drift into the corners <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> Great stuff.

we usually only play with 1 def mid and either scholes or veron ... you cant keep 3 def mids happy

It's possible ! It depends, in some games we should play with two, it worked well last year.

So its very similar to Leeds. Phil with Veron in cm. Michael Stewart on the bench despite having a twisted ankkle that rules him out for 2 weeks. Shame Forlan isn't starting, in our easiest CL match.

some, but no the majority ... our midfield is fine ... we have 6 established players fighting for 4 places ... stewarts good enough and just how often are scholes, butt and keane out at the same time?

Looks like a 6-1 job with Forlan to get number 6, you read it here first. Come on United <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> I seen first goal going through Barthez legs.
 
Couldn't tell who crossed it, but it was a good one, and nice header by Giggs into the top corner.

Blanc needs to try harder, you can't just not bother running.

Ole should have scored just then! Where are his shooting boots?

Good news, they look defensively poor, and we look in the mood to score. Whether we're good enough is another matter, but I think we'll be ok.
 
It was straight through his legs which he didn't manage to close in time, poor. Ruud hits a good shot, well saved.

Barthez has yet to keep a clean sheet in 3 games. Carroll had 3 I believe.
