Manchester United 3:1 Crystal Palace (Tue 19th July, 11:10 UK time)

Telles is a parody player, also rough day at the office for Fish.

Should have just let him go. Its a friendly, no point taking him down.

Fish, rightly sent off, but grates me that Ayew wasn't sent off after his 5th, 6th and 7th foul.

In your opinion he is the worst , doesn't actually mean he is.

I mean imagine not having any talent but still consistently getting selected for your club side and National team. Crazy.

34 minutes gone in that half, McT picks the ball up deep, plays a good pass through the lines, rather than standing still he then goes and makes a fantastic run down the channel, all of that lead to a chance, but I wouldn't expect you to see that as you're probably still seething that he nearly gave the ball away a minute before that.

Modern academy players with as many games as McT, post 1980 as an arbitrary cutoff:

  • Jonny Evans
  • Jesse Lingard
  • Norman Whiteside
  • Marcus Rashford
  • Darren Fletcher
  • Wes Brown
  • Mike Duxbury
  • Phil Neville
  • Nicky Butt
  • John O'Shea
  • David Beckham
  • Mark Hughes
  • Gary Neville
  • Paul Scholes
  • Ryan Giggs
McTominay being the worst of this crowd shouldn't be terribly controversial.

Telles stand out as a liable in this LCB role.

Why ETH doing this if we want to sell him.

got to feel for fish there. no doubt the nerves got to him but perhaps partnering him with telles wasn’t the smartest idea

£19m up front is still a terrible deal for a young player who played pretty much no 1st team football. It was an awful deal regardless of how Diallo develops in the future.

It was Euros, I edited my post. €19m may still be a rip-off but people keep saying we spunked 40 mil on him which is not true.
