United are playing well but its going to be tough against a 10 man defense.
Keano and Phil neville have caused problems by arriving late and Butt had a great chance.
Roy Caroll was forced to make one save (Blanc caught for pace(!)) against Roberts, but other than that Blanc and OShea look good!
Veron even tried a Beckham with the West Brom Goalie off his line!

Sounds like we're playing OK. Should leave any changes to 60/65 minutes, but no later than that.
Sorry, but we are not looking good. Dunno what game Fergie is playing at but against this team we should be creaming them.

Plenty of good chances for United, Keano had a couple, so did Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs should have also put us in front.
WBA's only real chance of the first half nearly put them in front, but a good save at the near post from Roy Carroll saved our blushes. Jason Roberts should have done better as he easily beat Laurent Blanc for pace and was able to get around him and run into the box where Blanc made a challenge, but Roberts was still able to get past that and then Carroll saved.
United have had much of the play for the first half, WBA only playing on the counter. They are getting men behind the ball.
Phil Neville hasn't had much defending to do, and has been coming forward a lot in the first half. Roy Keane has had some good chances, a good header was saved on the line. Nicky Butt took the ball past the keeper, but he couldn't square the ball to Ruud or score the goal himself. Ryan Giggs has also had a few half chances. Juan Veron is not afraid to try teh creative passes, only a few have actually come off.
Ruud hasn't had much involvement in the match yet.
John O'Shea is looking composed at the back.
