Looks like Bayern?

Not sure about the yellow going, but not too bothered other than that.

It's not like we've had the current one for that long, or there haven't been plenty of other redesigns.

Can't make my mind up if the stars are good or bad.

According to this article, the picture inside will be the new club logo.

Personally im disappointed, I dont think it needs changing, and the 3 stars is quite sad really.

What do you think?

If anybody can put the pictures in a post that would be easier.

Why are you disappointed? Club crests get changed every now and then. It's nothing new. All companies freshen up their logos on a regular basis.

If we still had the original logo then I'd be against it but we haven't.

Banners have been removed around the crest. More circular and the central shield more pointy. Not bad.

That's exactly it. Moving the football club off, made the irreversible change to that. As much as I hate it, we haven't been a football club for years.

Please God no. Even City have three stars, and the last thing I want is a comparison with them.

I very much like our current crest, having associated with it ever since I started following Manchester United.

Like I said in the other thread... it's hardly a radical overhaul and is basically just a bit of a sharper take on the current badge. It doesn't' offend me in the slightest.

I don't like the stars. I know the European cup is a prestigious tournament but why show three stars for it and nothing for the league or FA cup wins? Incude them all (which would mean just a crest full of stars) or don't include any stars

Yes but our 3 stars would actually mean something. City's is purely for decoration the small time cnuts.

It could be seen as a good dig at them, because our stars would mean something, and theirs are "decorative". Have that, chancers!

I like the rumored crest. It's modern, without completely overhauling it beyond recognition.

If we don't win the Champions League again for another 40 years, I think the stars would become embarrassing. Much like England's single star they insist on putting on every England shirt these days.

No, it just looks like we're copying IMO.

Still..!!

I'd rather they kept it as before, which looks unique and different from all others instead of a cross between Bayern and City.

Wasn't this just a mock up from somebody on Facebook?

Why do you think the three stars are sad?

Because its becoming a european dick swinging competition.

We all know we've won it 3 times, but compared to other clubs its hardly anything to shout about?.

When liverpool stick 5 on their crest its going to look silly, what will we do then, put 20 stars around the club crest to show our 20 league titles?

The stars are not needed IMO.

I think if we are going down the stars route then I think next season maybe a appropriate time to have done 2 stars. 1 for every 10 titles and show off winning it more than any other English club and the first to reach 20.

I like it the way it is

No yellow would be weird :(

I was about to say the same... this is wht Italian clubs do, right?

Looks better than the old one, to be fair. And it's not as if we've never redesigned the club crest before.
