Man United's Premier League record when winning at half time at Old Trafford - 293 Wins, 24 Draws, 0 Defeats

Ten Hag will break this and many more records. He should be given a new bumper five year contract for all these achievements.

It’s even more insane when you realise that the record goes back even further- to May 1984, when Ipswich ran out 2-1 winners after United led 1-0 at half time.

Simple solution for ETH. Set the team up to never score again in the first half. Then he’ll be safe from breaking this record too.

So basically we need to make sure we win at half time. FIFA hack 2024.
Run the players to the ground for 45 mins where they play like possessed maniacs.

Probably won’t get broken this season. We’re rarely in front at HT. think we’ve scored the least goals in the 1st half in the league.

We've always had lethal attackers on the break, so if we get ahead at home we usually at least get a draw. Though Ten Hag seems determined to put a stop to that with the likes of Antony and co.

Sometimes I half think this stat plays on their minds and why they only start playing when they go a goal down.

Just one more game left. If this record can survive the ETH era it can survive anything.

Trying to think if there was any occasion in last 40 years it was minutes from being broken
We nearly lost it against Everton in October 2021. We were 1-0 up at half time, they equalised after half time, and nearly won it only for their goal to be ruled out for offside

That match was the 9th consecutive match in which we had failed to keep a clean sheet, which was our longest at home in the top flight since February 1971. The amount of records we’ve broken since Fergie left, especially this season alone, is absolutely unacceptable and must number at least something like 200.

Was that where Townsend scored for Everton?
