Maguire needs to be replaced

If he goes on to improve his form & his on field captaincy then the slide is a non-issue but what he has done is put himself well & truly in the firing line when his next accident occurs.

He’s always come across to me as a frontrunner to me, having had a number of questionable performances for us where I don’t remember him making comments.

Someone on here compared his talents to that of Michael Dawson. I don't think that assessment got enough credit at the time.
 
So happy he managed to celebrate after that goal against Albania. Hopefully we can celebrate him getting kicked out of the club in the summer.

You're right but the silver lining is that even we won't give him that purported new contract of 300k/week. Even as a rumour, that was ridiculous.

He’s going to stay and the next manager will get a lot more out of him.

Look at the shameful defending going on by Sancho who is just completely lazy. I do think his positioning for the goal was off, but probably the idiotic zonal defending we are doing.

He has stopped a good 2/3 goals from happening though.

Agreed. Still think there is a player in there, but what can you learn from Ole? What can a defender learn from this coaching team? Conte would have had us compact with the gap between midfield and defence as close as possible to each other. Conte would have suffocated Watford
