I would probably take £30m for Maguire. I would have preferred somewhere between £35m to £40m but considering the wages and standing in the squad, the fee is ok. £50m for both however is a no go, I would want closer to £40m for Scott.

If it is truly 30M then we should take it. I would be happy with 25M as long as we don't have to cover any of his salary.
£55m total would be a pretty good deal for us and a pretty good deal for them. It feels like the price where the deal happens. Any more and they’ll walk, and I can’t see us agreeing if it’s any less.

Yeah, no chance of getting both for £50m

Valuing McT at £20m is a serious low ball offer, Southampton are asking for £30m for James Ward Prowse FFS
Yeah :( Hopes were up, but now they're lower than they were because WH seem to be going in the wrong direction with their bids and there's absolutely no way we'll let them do us over on McTominay.

They'll be really good signings for them, will improve them. Be thrilled to get 60m for both. Harry's just never fit in here and other than McT's goal against City, I feel absolutely zero emotion towards him.

Take Maguire's £30M and tell West Ham we can figure out Scott next. And then once Maguire is done say £45M for Scott.
Agree. 30m is more than fair for Maguire imo given his age, wages and form. But 20m for McT is too cheap imo. McT is not top quality but he's actually quite decent with good physical attributes. He's also young and can play many positions.

If they sell Maguire I think we need a central defender in the squad as a back-up for Varane and Martinez. Varane needs a lot of breaks during a season, and I do not trust Lindelöf as our only back-up. I hope that Evans is not meant to be a back-up. You could see in the last game that he has lost a lot of pace, and he will not be a good solution.

If JWP is worth only £30m, being as he’s quite a lot better than McT I’d say £20m-£25m is about right for McT.

Bear in mind JWP is Southampton’s best player who they would rather not sell at all and McT is surplus for us.

If we sell DVB, we need the squad depth anyways. Eriksen, McTominay, Amrabat, Mainoo are good backups to have. Next year cut Eriksen loose & sell McTominay to fund Caicedo if Chelsea doesn't buy him this season.
That's exactly what we should do,can’t see Caicedo still being on the market next summer

Lavia is their best player according to reports atm of them wanting 50 million, jwp is a class dead ball specialist but hardly sets the world on fire elsewhere imo.

£60 million for both is a fair offer and should be accepted.

They are surplus to requirements and we need to bring better players in.

Would West Ham pay that for Scott?
Hopefully I think it all comes down to who they can get out of jwp and him for the same kind of money and it looks like Southampton ain't playing ball on that one much like the lavia deal to Liverpool. (I'm starting to sound like Ben Jacobs, need to slap myself).

Accept it, move on, and strengthen our own squad
my feelings exactly. Weve haggled a bit to show we arent pushovers anymore, now time to close for what we can get. There are several players we just can't have here next year and seems like we have some lower targets in mind that we should be able to bring in with these excess funds.

£30m seems a fair price to me. Hope we just accept that and everyone moves on.

I feel bad for Maguire but it’s best for him to move on now. Ten Hag has handled this situation very well

Get 5m in realistic addons for McT and we're good. I think 5m is there to be squeezed in a double deal.

How much is the Nice CB? We might be able to get both him + Amrabat from the double deal.

He's 26, not a youngster.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE IT !!!!

Get Amrabat and Todibo/Braithwaite in after that and then also VdB and Fred sold, if all done by the end of the.window, we will have played a blinder.

Good god, snap their fecking hands off if they’ve offered £30m for Maguire.
