If that's aimed at me then I don't know what you're talking about, I've never claimed or insinuated that I was a "top red". If you bother to read what Devilish posts on a regular basis, it's pretty much always complaints about us not spending big, writing off any transfer that doesn't come with a big price tag. I feel sorry for the Glazers. Imagine their anguish to see their star go. They wouldn't part with him for all the money in the world. But, for 95m? "What the feck are you waiting for?" I can almost picture that snarl on old man's face.

Stating that, I cant see how one can applaud clubs whose owners bleed supporters dry {through ridiculously high season tickets} or put their club in financially jeopardy as much as I cant see why we should suffer the consequences placed on us by the Glazers. If Rooney leaves I would be gutted because a big club shouldnt allow their best stars to leave expecially if the money goes not for the club {not neccessarly transfers} but on frivolous things such as salary increases to Mr THE GLAZERS ARE EVIL|BEST THING EVER Gill and to pay for the debts. Don't be so blinkered. A world record fee plus a ready made replacement, we'd be laughing. Rooney is a good player but he isn't irreplaceable and certainly not "priceless". Should add Higuain isn't a Real Madrid flop either and although Benzema has had a bad year in a new country in an unfavourable system, it's not surprising. He made the biggest mistake of his life going to Madrid as would Rooney if he went there too.
Only Ferguson is priceless at the club.
