Would pay good money for his notepad after he's gone just to see what shite he has been scribbling down all this time.
Pass back, pass sideway

He should have brought Morgan on to be with Carrick and taken Rooney off and slotted Ander in there. I would have have Pereira on as well. Gone for it. Instead Big Mike ends the game up front. Where was Powell?
In 360 minutes of football at Old Trafford we managed 7 shots on target.
Again?I think Powell is injured
No. Can I be the one who runs on with a wet sponge?Do you want the job?

What happens when we reach zero, is this the United Apocalypse?

I don't get the whole "give him to the end of the season" argument. If you were trapped in a jail cell with big Winston, you wouldn't wait until he'd finished annihilating your anus before deciding whether getting arse raped was right or wrong.
LVG has failed. His method are outdated and do not match the values of the club. He needs to go now so that something can be salvaged from this season.
Never heard boos like that at old Trafford before, deafening
Just woken up. He's not gone yet.
Going back to sleep.
It definitely feels like a point of no return in terms of the fans. 95 % of us have now turned on him completely. Hard to see anywhere to go from here. And if the board know he's a dead man walking, why wait another minute before making the inevitable decision? He will be gone by midweek. This feels exactly like it did after Moyes lost that Everton game.
Why so sad about it?Changed my vote
Because Pexbo was living in a Van Gaal Wonderland. Why so sad about it?
Why so sad about it?
Because I think the circumstances are as much to blame as he is. He's not helped himself at times but he's been unlucky.
I'm not sure if he's lost any of the players, they may not enjoy playing for him but I think his management style and authority means none of them would risk dropping their level to see him sacked. He has however lost the fans and with the media on his back too, there's an air of tension and pressure that makes it very tough for players to pick themselves up and start winning again. It's generally at this point that a change of leadership is the only fix.
Been unlucky how? By not winning in our last 6 games and having 7 shots on target at OT in our last 3? Those stats tell me it's a little more than being unlucky mate. If you mean in injuries, then again it's his fault we are so thin.but he's been unlucky.
If that's the best our players can give, then we have serious issues going forward.I'm not sure if he's lost any of the players, they may not enjoy playing for him but I think his management style and authority means none of them would risk dropping their level to see him sacked
Playing for United alone brings a degree of tension. Winning is a must and that's the pressure the players are under from the get go when signing for United. Pressure at big clubs is always there, and you are not sure the players can pick themselves up because of the media and the fans? What about looking at the manager to pick them up? That's his job after all isn't it?there's an air of tension and pressure that makes it very tough for players to pick themselves up and start winning again.
Patience friend, patience, surely it will happen. I'd be amazed if it didn't happen.feck sake, woke up and logged in here, he hasn't been sacked yet.
Mourinho has stated he is not taking a break.
You really think he won't take it? He'd be doing cartwheels from London to Manchester. This is the job that I truly believe he wanted all along.
Even so I don't have faith in Van Gaal to turn this around and qualify for the CL. For that reason regardless of whether we can get Pep, regardless of whether Mourinho would take over right away - I think van Gaal needs to go now. Regarding Giggs I'm not sure at all, if he would be the interim boss I guess it's like a free swing but he doesn't inspire confidence in me for top 4 either.
Mourinho saying no, changes the equation, of course.
But regardless, I think that is time for LVG to go. There are clearly deep problems in the club, and an interim manager (even if he is inferior in quality to LVG) might give the team a needed push. Just watch Chelsea, they were today managed by no idea who, and played better than they did in any game this season.
When the entire team plays like shit - and today it looked more than ever that was happening - is time for the manager to check out.
At this stage, I wouldn't mind Giggs managing the team for the rest of the season. The worst it can happen is not getting qualified for UCL. Well, we aren't doing so with LVG in charge too.
We need to change direction and that is only done by firing Van Gaal because he soooo refuses to change. Waiting until all is lost is a shitty way to run things plus there are two top class managers theoretically still available. Giving LVG till the end of the season, deciding to do so now with the January window upon us is practically throwing good money after bad.
Uhm...
To use your analogy, think the crap is filling the bowl fast and someone needs to flush.
There's no point sacking him until we know what we are doing next. The worst thing for us to do right now would be to sack him without a successor lined up and end up with the wrong person for the job again.
I doubt we could attract the top managers at the moment. A short term Mourinho fix could put us back up there challenging for the best.
On the other hand we can keep him in charge and continue with the same brand of football that's seen this slump kick in. Let's face facts, his team has been heavily defensive all season, the walls have started crumbling and we aren't scoring the goals to counter the goals conceded.
We need to get rid now, let someone man the post until we get our new manager in. I'd be a lot more comfortable with a temporary manager in charge as I feel Van Gaal has lost this team.
That's what I thought when I read the post. United fans like that are just blinkered.Pathetic response to a post which contained not an iota of gloating.
Mourinho isn't a top manager?
Not in the long term. He would be great for three seasons or so.
