He will be fired. But probably too late to make top 4. Say, in 3-4 weeks.
Likeable? You do get easily confused.
Nah, i guess he is is somewhat likeable.
Why does everyone think he's staying just because he said he won't resign?
after a run of defeats then yes it's a positive but that's ignoring how bad we've becomeWhat's said is that we now view a draw, as a good result.
To be fair to West Ham and Stoke, i doubt their supporters will be satisfied with a home draw against this Chelsea team.We drew 0-0, at home, to the team that are 16th in the league.
People that are happy with that have no standards at all. You're talking like you support West Ham or Stoke.
Moyes was sacked a bit further down the line, so yes he won't be sacked just yetI don't think anyone thinks the club will sack him.
I mean I think he would have been sacked by now.
There is no light at the end of the tunnel with this tool in charge. Is he going to sudden abandon his defensive shite Football?Listen, If he does get sacked I will have little argument
But if he stays I will fully support the club and and hope things improve. Today things improved
Haven't been reading the thread but if it's worse than it usually is then it must be shambles... and on that note... cyaThink it is a good word, children do tend to get upset.
From THIS point onwards? Everyone, even on here, saw it coming from a mile away that we weren't going to get much from these past two games after the utter shambles we saw against Norwich unless changes were made.We deserve every dropped point, every meh game from this point onwards.
This now isn't LVG fault, it's on Woodward and the boards head.
If all this talk about Woodward and LVG going out to dinner with their wives is true then we have a serious conflict of interest at this point. He's too close to make the decision dispassionately.
Fair enough, you clearly have the lowest standards possible and are willing to just ignore the context of the rest of the season.I enjoyed the performance. We were fun to watch and should have won. Huge difference between today and all our other games.
I'm sorry if this upsets people.
In all honesty though - that's fine (at least it's a decision of some kind) but then I would expect Rooney, Carrick, Fellaini and plenty others to be leaving the club within the next couple transfer windows. It's a hell of a long wait for the second window and it could get ugly in the time leading to that.
Which bit? The football under Moyes was a lot more exciting than the dross LvG has served up. We've scored as many league goals as Bournemouth this season. And no first half goals at OT for the last 8 games.Oh my God! if you really believe that then you need psychiatric help
No-one is happy with the result. But it's clear that some people are so clouded by what has transpired over the last few weeks that they are blind to the fact that we actually played quite well today. I'm not saying that means LVG should stay, just that we weren't bad today.
LvG: "Even after today's result the fans are applauding, so I cannot say I am concerned much."
Looks like the club is telling the players to deal with it and they won't let them sulk a manager out of his job.
He is going nowhere till we are mathematically out of top 4, which is once again the aim for the season.
.
I enjoyed it but still want him gone.I enjoyed the performance. We were fun to watch and should have won. Huge difference between today and all our other games.

Or maybe we were good and made them look bad? You can't just reduce it to: No goals = shite performance. There's more to it than that. We did what we could. It could easily have ended 4-2.There is no light at the end of the tunnel with this tool in charge. Is he going to sudden abandon his defensive shite Football?
You call that improvement today? Yet another game we didn't score. Is that our standards now? Chelsea were utterly shite today.
Don't mis use his words. He said that in context of his job. Let at least keep the conversation factual. You have enough sticks to beat the poor man withGood to know that our manager 'isn't concerned' that he's taken his team to 6th in the league. Not won in 8, won 4 in 17, won 15 of the last 36, got us knocked out of the CL, got us knocked out of the LC by a championship team...but no its okay, he isn't concerned.
What an utter clown. How people can accept this is beyond me.
Honestly think this is a complete over reaction. The problems in this team can be solved. Things are bad right now but all the foundations are in place to build a quality team again, it's gonna take some patience and a few quality signings tho. PersonAlly think Van Gaal could turn it around with some big signings but also wouldn't be against him leaving. He is going nowhere till we are mathematically out of top 4, which is once again the aim for the season.
He will be given money to spend again in this window, although I dont see who can come and improve us.
The club is in utter shambles and needs to be rebuild right from the top.
That's all. I still want LVG out. Rather today than tomorrow. But people are painting this like another terrible performance when it fact is was the opposite. A bit of perspective wouldn't hurt.Ok, we weren't that bad today. What is your point? This can't be a point, i mean what is the point of this being your point?
Fair enough, you clearly have the lowest standards possible and are willing to just ignore the context of the rest of the season.
Dreadful post.
We had 2 shots on target. His tactics are shite.Or maybe we were good and made them look bad? You can't just reduce it to: No goals = shite performance. There's more to it than that. We did what we could. It could easily have ended 4-2.
So many are. It's utterly disgusting to see.
If your memory isn't too clouded, which I doubt. We got hammered at home by Liverpool,City, lost to Newcastle,Everton(home and away).Lost tamely to swansea. Virtually had no game plan that I saw.Which bit? The football under Moyes was a lot more exciting than the dross LvG has served up. We've scored as many league goals as Bournemouth this season. And no first half goals at OT for the last 8 games.

I think today it was clear the players are at least trying their best, they simply aren't good enough though.
We really are becoming a mid table club.
From the top to the bottom, standards are dropping and dropping. To the point where even some fans are accepting it.
No other elite European club would accept such mediocrity. And mediocrity is being kind, seeing as we've won 4 of the last 17 games.
