How can you spend so much and still look so average with no real options on the bench to change things up.

I tell you what, the United board have more patience than Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and PSG put together. He would have never lasted this long in any of those circuses.

It's this bollocks notion that we're "better" that other clubs for giving the manager more time.

If he's not out within the next day or 2, then the higher ups running the club are idiots.

I'm sure they are, whether or not he'll still be here. It seems evident in everything that's happened since SAF retired and Gill left.

I'd respect him a little bit more if he resigned, it's over anyway, go out with some honour.

We need 1 billion pounds to fix this mess of a team and I wouldn't trust the people working at United to spend 1 pound. We've transitioned from an aging team to a team full of mediocre, spineless morons. Good luck to the next United manager with that shower of shite.

An account with over 500K followers claims Jose to us next week. Not an English account so I couldn't investigate their reliability.

Commentator for Telecinco in Spain. Sounds more like his opinion rather than relaying inside knowledge though.

Its not difficult to see the problems are bigger than just the manager.

I have a feeling his post match interview will be a resignation of sorts. He would definitely know that the penny has now dropped and his last managerial outing of his career ends in failure.

Lets try and get Simeone.

Edit: Also, I finally changed my vote.

if Jose is appointed he will bring in the right players no worries.

The transfer window opens in a few days. The sooner we have a new manager in place, the better, otherwise we could miss out on transfer targets again.

Right I'm not even gonna bother advocating anything now. Utterly gutted. Might stay away till he's inevitably sacked.

Surely Jose to take over (but knowing us we'll try with Giggs at the behest of Sir Bobby) and get laughed at by Pep when we make a meek approach in a few months...

:(

All things considered it was worse than the Moyes reign.

I say this in past tense, with so much hope!

He really needs to resign rather than bow out of the game having been sacked.

Bye bye LVG.

I think history will remember him slightly more fondly than we think of him at the moment because I think most of the players he brought in will go on to be good players for us under a manager they enjoy playing for.

What's happened with Liverpool this season has shown you can still get a terrific manager in, but things aren't magically going to change overnight. It's going to be a dogfight for top 4 this season, it really is.

Sickening to read that in many ways. But just in purely football terms tell that to Leicester.

He shouldn't be here against chelsea, sack him tonight and maybe we'd get a reaction from the players on monday, we really can't afford wasting anymore points.

Perhaps.

But its pretty obvious to everyone that it starts with him.

There has been dissent, passionless shite and flagrant knackery under two managers now and it seems to stem from the British contingent left in those squads. The managers must take some blame for allowing them to remain a part of the club but in all honesty the senior players have been an absolute disgrace for nigh on 30 months now.
