No stamina at all?!
Application. Shaw has what is needed to be one of the best LB's in the league, even post-injury, but he has no heart, application or desire and we can't keep trying to fix that or what for him to get with the program. No stamina at all?!
Even if I agree, not sure I want to see Malacia up against Salah to be honest. Would trust Shaw do do betterHe better not start the next game.
I wouldn't even put him on the bench.
His effort out there is a disgrace.

Real top teams lose patience with players like this very quickly.
If he were at a real top team, he would have been loaned out and then sold years ago.
The real top teams already would have sold Shaw, Rashford, Martial years ago and the likes of Maguire would have been loaned out or sold this summer.
What is tolerated at United is obscene. We are carrying 7-8 players in the first eleven that the true elite teams would have found solutions to get out of the club.
We are a sad, hollow shell of a top club and there is no better example than a chubby, cocky Luke Shaw.
I understand why you say that, but Salah scored a hattrick against us at Old Trafford last season. He was Shaw's man. At this point, I think we have to give our new signing a shot. Even if we're throwing him in at the deep end.Even if I agree, not sure I want to see Malacia up against Salah to be honest. Would trust Shaw do do better
Not sure about loaned out, but I do agree overall. Our players get way more chances than they would get at other elite clubs.Real top teams lose patience with players like this very quickly.

Huh? Malacia shut down the left side of the pitch in the second half. Brentford were running past Shaw constantly in the first half.Even if I agree, not sure I want to see Malacia up against Salah to be honest. Would trust Shaw do do better
Even worse is his 'effort' in defending crossed from the right side to his back post. The guy could not be bothered yet will outlasts 10 managers soon enough.Shaw is the probably the laziest left back in the league, the number of times he allows the opposition winger to receive possession, control and steady the ball and then allowing them to cross the ball in, all while he stands yards away watching without putting any pressures or challenges in, is borderline criminal. He just switches off mentally without the ball and doesn't know when to go when to wait and how to anticipate the danger until its too late.

Club is probably sticking with its "we finished 2nd that one time" stance and telling ETH to improve what he has. They'll make a few additions but they don't have rhe balls to let the likes of Shaw and Rashford go.top post + I still don’t understand almost no first team players are even rumored to be loaned out after years of non performance. these idiots would have outlasted Moyes, LVG, Jose, Ole and ETH.
Absolutely. I've gone from being enraged etc to acceptance. We are no longer a top club. Under this ownership Manchester United don't have that mindset and drive for genuine excellence. In our history and tradition we are one of the greatest in the sport but in the ground reality of today, we are just a Mish mash of incompetence and disinterest.Real top teams lose patience with players like this very quickly.

so after taking some time to calm down and think about it, I haven't changed my opinion in the slightest.i hope that's the last time he plays for us. An absolute disgrace.
He looks finished.
That was the most disappointing part of it. Previously he has easily dominated players like Salah in those longer foot races, without breaking much of a sweat and being in control.Application. I don't recall him ever being outright outrun before yesterday - someone can correct me if I'm wrong - but even yesterday, it was a lack of application first and foremost.
There's more reason to feel let down by this guy than countless others who simply aren't good enough, even if they had Ronaldo's single-mindedness.
Shaw has generally been crap at the start of the season and only starts picking up form when he starts to lose weight by the time the first international break is over. That was the most disappointing part of it. Against Brentford he wasn’t in control and wasn’t close to being at full pelt. Therefore he seemed to lose momentum and lost the sprint and we conceded. It’s the lazy approach that will cost you.
He has often struggled with quick players bursting past him as his acceleration isn’t the best, but this is the first he lost a longer run. Either he’s lost pace or lost interest. Either way he needs improving.
Isn’t Fernandez out on loan?Should get rid assuming Malacia checks our. Fernandez can be the understudy
