He’s so good when he’s at his best. So good.

He’s been so good lately. Weird how good he is when he’s on it but can look dreadful when he’s not arsed.

If he and ten hag can keep him focused he’s such a great asset.

Unfortunately though the Luke Shaw boom bust cycle is hurtling towards a 6 week hamstring injury. He’s reaching peak levels again.

I knew he had it in him! He just needs to have his buttons pushed in the right way. Props to ETH and Malacia too.

Fantastic going forward. Not great defensively last 20 or so, but I can live with that. Overall motm.

His best performance of the season tonight, played really well defensively and offensively. Carried the ball brilliantly for his goal

It shouldn't be taken for granted just how good Luke Shaw is. Great player.

It's nuts to think he's only 27. But great also, as he's peaking at a time when players used to peak (until it got skewed with people hitting top form as teenagers)

He's playing at a world class level. Loads of space down his left side as he's playing narrower and Bournemouth started spamming balls into space for players to chase after once the game opened up. But it's been impressive from him from most of the season. Long may it continue.

My controversial opinion for the night. Whilst goalscoring is so important that ultimately Rashford is our most important player. Shaw is our best player and one of the best all around footballers in Europe.

People may want to say I'm getting ahead of myself in the moment of us doing well but his first touch is honestly one of the best I've ever seen, he dribbles so effortlessly, good passer of the ball and crosses so well. I await the criticism but he's my favourite player since Sir Alex retired.

He gives us so much.

There are still a few moments where he makes little mistakes defensively (and some of those are bound to give us problems) but they are getting rarer and he even plays CB with assurance.

Going forward he is so influential and productive and he does it all with an easy style and calmness that comes from exceptional natural ability and rock solid technique.

When in form he is world class and, in this case, it’s actually appropriate to use that term.

I don't think that's too controversial. He's the best footballer at the club - his influence extends far beyond that of a typical left back.

Amazing with the ball. His overall technique is so so good. Hope we tie him down with a new contract. Pep would love to get his hands on him I think.

His defending was lacking a bit, they got a few to many crosses in from his side and him and the rest of the team got a bit nonchalant after we got 2-0 up.

But if we can keep him, Casemiro, Varane, Martinez and Rashford fit we should have a good season.

Just an insanely whiplash few seasons for him between huge highs with England at the Euros, then a massive downer with us last season, then out of the side at the start of the season and playing himself back in and back to a World Class standard. All this after a horror injury and a torrid time under Mourinho. He really battled for it. Genuinely love the little fecker

He’s been just so so good. He’s the one player that can lay claim to being the best in his position in the world if he sustains this form. Big if but EtH is getting a tune out of him.

His first touch and technical ability is just exquisite. Loving this Luke Shaw redemption arc.

No criticism from me.

He's been my favourite player for quite a few years.

Very much under appreciated previously by a lot of people on here..
...you know who you are!
