Made out of tissue paper. Thank Christ we bought a new actual left back to come in for what will inevitably be at least two months out.

It isn’t his fault, but it’s just predictable now and I’m sick of it. Just as he’s starting to take more responsibility with his crossing now, too. Shame.

Knowing his injury record he should have been rotated more. Hectic schedule but Williams never got a look in.

Feck sake, he was doing so well too.

Telles' return to training was pretty damn well timed.

Was one of our better performers today and has been all season. Another fantastic assist to go with his one against Istanbul.

Unfortunately, he's picked up an injury. Hopefully hes not out too long.

Ole said it’s his hamstring and could well be a long one :(

I'm really happy we bought Telles now. Get healthy fast Luke.

Sometimes I wonder why his performance is due to his fear of getting injured, and United had no replacements for him until Telles came in.

I feel that he does not make a 50/50 run when he needs to, he does not make the dribble when there is a chance of a nutmeg, and he won't cross the ball unless he is open enough. When he does these, he usually ends up in an assist, or puts in a really strong performance and United ends up with the win.

When I was injured for a while, I also had the same mentality. Why go for the sprint if I can get injured again, so I tried to sprint as little as possible as I could.

These muscular injuries are a huge problem. It’s looked as though he’s been reluctant to sprint flat-out for ages. And when he does occasionally let rip so do one or more of his muscles.

It makes him half the player he could be, as his Millennium Falcon pace and acceleration was one his best qualities as a youngster.

Average position in line with Mason Greenwood and stats say the most progressive passer in the side.

Made up shit as usual. Standards.
Shaw not going forward is one of the biggest mysteries on this forum. I wonder if those people even watch the games.

Shows why the Telles signing was so important, he's a good player but made of glass.

It's also a shame about Telles Covid, last game should've been a perfect opportunity for rotation.

He is one of or most injury prone players so Why the hell wasn't he rotated? Started our last 8 when pretty much everyone else got a rest at some point.

No trust in Williams anymore and Telles had Covid.

2 games 2 assists, must be first time in his career. 2 very good crosses.

He was really getting back to his best and has been our best defender this season. Shame about his injury issues,

With Shaw it almost seems like clockwork. He has decent form but once he's gained confidence and taken it up a notch, injury, reset. Such a shame. 2 sweet crossed assists in 2 games and then this

Injuries always seem to derail his momentum. Really good display from him today.

Telles to come in after the break for a little run.

Good cross for the assist and had an all round good game, real shame about the hamstring injury.

I think he was genuinely starting to look like the mythical pre-leg break Shaw.

Plays well-gets long term injury. Plays shit-perfectly healthy. Story of his career.

Was having a great game. Had upped his game since Telles arrived, coincidentally or not. Shame about his hamstring

For some reason, I think Ole was making his injury a bit dramatic about it with the way he was trying to make a point.

Well, that's me hoping it was not a bad one and shaw comes back after international games.

Yet he runs up and down and up and down... He has played ALOT and with the schedule and amount of games you cant really say thats he made of glass.. And he has had what? 3 weeks break in over a year?

This forum is sometimes very very weird.

Two really great crosses and two assists. Really unlucky with the injury though. He looked great as an attacking threat and was good defensively as well. Hope he recovers soon.

I'm not convinced its a bad one. Shaw looked surprised at being subbed, and didn't seem to be having issues with his mobility.

I really do think Ole plans to use him as a LCB is a back 5 on a regular basis, and we have just been waiting on Telles to get up to speed before using it more regularly. LCB should be way less physically demanding too so we'll hopefully see a reduction in these muscular issues.

I want all of the criticizing posters, try and go play left back. See how fecking demanding that position is.
